Glad to have come across Las Lunas the other day when looking for some quick breakfast. Swung through the drive thru & ordered 10 of their $3 burritos (3 brisket, 2 frijoles con queso, 2 picadillo and 3 weenie with chipotle). All of the options were served with generous fillings - no skinny burros here! Our favorites were the weenie and the brisket but all four were hits with the familia (so much so that we didn't capture any pics). My wife and I went here for menudo about three weeks ago and ate inside the bakery. It was very good with plenty of good tripe and spice. Took some empanadas home and they were not good. Yesterday I decided to pick up some menudo to takeout. It was as though they had a different pot for takeout orders. Hardly any tripe, plenty of bones, broth was watered down, stale francesitos, overall bad experience. Won't be back! read more

$4 solid brisket "burrito". It's just meat and a fresh tortilla! Amazing! Luckily, I was drug here by a local in the know.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast while in town for work. Went through the convenient drive thru and was greeted by a friendly gentleman. Ordered two burritos (barbacoa and Piccadillo) and a large coffee. The coffee has a nice cinnamon hint-loved it. The burritos were good size. I gobbled the barbacoa and will have to save the piccadillo for lunch. They didn't have tamales otherwise I would have flown back home with a dozen. Guess I'll have to come back next time for those! waited 40 mins for couple burritos ridiculous wait time. They need organize them selves better.

At 6:45 am bread shouldn't be moldy! I included a photo. This is a few minutes after they opened, I'm disappointed the bread wasn't fresh. I dropped by surprised they were open that early. I got some sweet bread to take to work. I was excited because sweet bread that early should be nice and warm. As it turns out it wasn't until at work when a coworker got a bread and it was moldy and green. Fresh bread shouldn't be moldy! I'm very disappointed and it's a bad first experience. I called to notify them and was offered nothing to compensate not even an apology. read more

My family and I have burritos from here every weekend. And that's pretty much all we come here for. Desherbada roja was what I used to order and I really enjoyed it. The desherbada verde is also just as good, a bit more spicy. I also recommend their Tortas for when you're really hungry. You can buy any amount of handmade tortillas for $ .50 cents each. There's a free soda with the purchase of a burrito on Wednesdays. I have to say their sweet bread isn't what we come here for. The menudo also doesn't bring us here, Prado's is much better. There's unfortunately better bakeries for things besides burritos. But these burritos are so good! Service isn't good but it isn't bad. It really depends on whoever takes your order. Last time I "dined in" was more than 2 years ago. All my orders are made through the drive thru, the inside isn't very welcoming. This place doesn't have a swipe charge like Prado Bakery randomly added so I rather bring my business here. read more

I am out here in EL Paso visiting my family and my family told me I need to try Las Luna's bakery burritos. So today I stop in the bakery for lunch and I have to say the employees where so nice and helpful. My family told me to try the red pork burritos so that is what I did and wow they are so delicious. I end up ordering 4 burritos for lunch. I love it how they make home made tortilla when you place your order. Burritos were great up until we ordered chorizo burritos. Husband bit into his burrito and found a wire in it . Poked his mouth but thank god didnt swallow it or cause any injury. I called and was given the excuse that it could've been the scrubber used to wash dishes like it had happened before. I left my number because management was not in and I'm still waiting for a call . This place has great burritos, but that's about where the good stuff ends, the pan dulce taste kinda old and stale and I went on a Saturday morning before 9 which most bakeries would have fresh bread, the menudo is all meat which isn't even cleaned or cut right, super greasy and way spicier than it should be, probably to make up for the lack of flavor since it's very bland. As for the management, I understand that it's a family owned restaurant but they have favorites and regulars that allow to cut in line in front of you even if they're ordering a full family meal, it's happened at least 3 times in my experience here. read more

I'm a white guy from the Midwest who was first introduced to pan dulce in LA. I've been all over SoCal eating sweet breads, but this place takes the cake . This place was unsatisfactory because number one the person taking care of the customers, a young man was not polite he was rude. number two the fast food was not very good for the price. and third they charged your credit card without telling you about this charged. "for service fee". This place is a NO, NO. it was the first time I went there and also the last. I`ll never go back there again. If your looking for Authentic Mexican food done right this is the spot. Not a fan of other Tex-Mex spin off spots that make red salsa taste like chunky tomato sauce. You'll never run into that problem here. Their tortillas are superb you can really taste the fresh flour & if u look towards the kitchen u just might catch them make a fresh batch. I always try to mix it up between burritos, tortas, or menudo. which I don't do in most places because not every one can knock it out of the park in all three. Customers are always served with a smile, & the help yourself bread rack set-up is very II when ur short for time. I can choose the best looking bread & not get stuck with the random one I'm given. I'm a regular here mainly just because of their brisket and Barbacoa burritos. Can't find Barbacoa as good as here. Honestly I've only had 1 bad experience here out of 50 only cause I came during a rush. Staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed. They also have Mexican chips here which is a plus. The sweet bread is old. This is the second and last time I buy sweet bread from this location. The first time I bought sweet bread here it was stale but I was already at work and too far to return it. It left me with a bad impression and I did not return to make another purchase until a year later. I recently returned thinking that perhaps they had improved and hoping that the early morning would have a fresh batch of sweet bread. I was disappointed again. I took a few sweet rolls from what I thought was a recent lot since the tray was warm. When I arrived home the bread was warm but I bit into hard stale bread that had probably been warmed in a microwave oven or some other source. The owner was rude and try to charge us for the menudo extras. We filled a pot which he charged us 5 bowls that comes with the extras but since we had a pot we don't get that. This makes no sense to me when I paid for 5 bowls. The menudo sucked and was no good either. Their bread is out in the open and the owner also rolls the burritos bare handed after touching money. Then he try's to put on a plastic glove that he pulls out of his pocket. Definitely won't be going there again. Our regular menudo place was not serving on weekdays. Stay away read more

Las Lunas has a variety of things. But my favorite is the chile relleno burrito. I live close to El Prado Bakery and I would rather drive to Las Lunas because their burritos beat El Prado any day. And most of all the prices are great. Once you have one burrito you will be hooked and be a regular like me. read more
