This is no-doubt a beautiful park although not cheap. 335 pesos to enter and then everything else is a la carte. The issue is the criminals who work there. You have three options with your things (wallet, cell phone, clothes, food etc..)
1) Leave everything in your car. I have read reports that cars have been broken into. This is also problematic since every time you want something you need to leave the park.
2) Just keep your things with you. However, difficult to swim. The river is the gem of the park.
3) Rent a locker for 45 pesos plus $115 peso deposit. And potentially be robbed because there are park employees who have duplicate keys.
The heart of the issue is that the park pays its employees 200 pesos per day and the visitors are very affluent. The area is very poor.
The lockers have no video security camera. There is no security guard keeping watch. And the park boss does not care if you are robbed.
Although a beautiful park I do not recommend going there. Too much drama. read more
