I suppose this is more a review of the supermarket as a tourist spot, but I'd recommend walking through if you're visiting Mexico and want to check out a local market.
We were wandering around the outskirts of the historic center of Morelia when we spotted this place. The market itself is pretty large, spanning a few small city blocks on each side.
The produce and meat sections of this market were what set it apart from the rest. Rows and rows of delicious looking meat and stacks of colorful fruit and vegetables were just fun to walk through.
The clothing and dry goods sections also had a much wider assortment than the other markets we visited.
Word of warning: If you've issues with seeing meat or poultry on display, this is not for you. You'll see tons of cow heads, intestines, etc..
