This place was... interesting. The decor is very modern and has a western feel to it. Located in a…read moreslightly more upscale suburban part of Merida, the place was empty aside for us, but we did go at a strange time of day I guess. Maybe it's more popular for dinner. The waiter did not know a word of English, so be prepared to order and understand the menu in Spanish. When we told him we were American and could only speak a tiny bit of Spanish, he walked off and muttered what sounded to me and my girlfriend like "shit!"! He didn't seem to know how to respons to anything we said in Spanish. Oh well. The bread and chimichurri sauce were delicious. I ordered the burger, which didn't have any flavor, but seemed to have lentils and therefore protein in it, which was a good thing. The salad was tasty. I would recommend trying it out at night time. PS- the coffee was excellent and strong.
