Go up to the rooftop for drinks and the best guacamole I have had in a long time! Casual and ultra friendly.

This small bakery is off on a side street and the only reason why I found it was because I just happened to be close to exchanging money. In fact there are at least five or six other small restaurants on the same street. I bought just a single Danish that had some type of pineapple filling. There were so many more like strawberry and orange that were equally tempting. I already knew I wasn't going to go for some heavy chocolate pastry or even a concha for that matter. Calories are important these days and I think I made the right choice with the pineapple danish. The first bite is awesome!

And they took my order w/ no problem. They were super nice. Place is super clean and they have good music. So atmosphere pretty cool, great spot to meet friends and hang out or just have a tea, latte, coffee whatever. Crêpe was good but not the best I've had, the dough was thick for my taste and apparently at this spot all the Crêpes have cream cheese. Make sure to tell them no cream cheese if you are lactose intolerant. I asked if they could please remake it because I was lactose intolerant and they fix it with no charge. I was so happy and the fact that they had an amazing attitude made the Crepe taste better. Other than this place is awesome Muchas gracias por sus atenciones y las delicias.

This…read moreplace was wide open and empty when I got here at 10:30am and one would think that there would be more customers especially given their breakfast waffles specialty. A Server came out and greeted me, and I just parked myself in their outdoor section within the food court area. I started out with a cafe Americano con leche, as well as, a pan de dulce. The coffee and pastry was pretty average tasting. So I just sat there for about fifteen minutes, and nobody bothered to come back to see if I wanted to order something else. It seemed like the workers here were busy organizing their stuff behind the counter, and I didn't really want to bother anybody for service. The indoor shopping area is what makes this restaurant unique, but I didn't pick-up any special vibe from here.

I tried to order a panque de naranja and it was very difficult to get the attention from the employee working behind the counter. She was fiddling with the coffee maker and not too much concerned about the people waiting to order. Similarly the other two employees who were closeby, were just too busy in their personal conversation to be bothered with helping out a customer. I went ahead and ordered the 90 peso pan de naranja which was hard as a rock and way over-priced. I really wasn't feeling anything positive about this cafe.

They had java from Ethiopia, Kenya, Cuba, Hawaii, and all kinds of other exotic places. I opted for the Ethiopian, which was rich, winey, and earthy at the same time. Delicious. The service was fast, and friendly. The coffee shop was really clean, and comfortable with plush seating in an indoor/outdoor setting. So funny. But once we walked over, we saw that it was a very lovely, traditional restaurant with very friendly servers. I will say that the employees are super polite..and can't imagine them running after a customer because they did not tip enough. With that said, the man did go ahead to add 15% to my card as I was signing out, and I said it was fine because I was going to leave that much or more anyway, but they should not have assumed.
