I was a regular customer of this Eiffel Optic. The prices were good and the ladies who helped me…read morewere professional. However, there was an elderly gentleman working there who was aggressive, not honest with me, and did not have my best interests in mind. I went because I scratched the lenses of my reading glasses, as I often do. It always cost me around 800 CZK for the cheapest type there. When this man waited on me, he told me the cheapest price was 1200 CZK. I said I'd prefer to pay 800 CZK like before. He abruptly handed my glasses back to me and said, "Then go somewhere else." He said that is what non-reflective lenses cost. I said I only wanted the cheapest one as before, I didn't need non-reflective. Annoyed, he said, fine, he could give me the 800 CZK lenses. Why would he pretend there was nothing cheaper than 1200 CZK until I insisted? When I came to pick up the glasses, he cleaned them. After paying, I noticed a smudge, which was probably my fault. But since I was looking closely at them, he starts yelling at me, "That's your fault! You did that!" I said, "Yeah, I know, but why are you so aggressive?" I spoke to the other sales assistant and asked if she was the manager. She said there was no manager there. I complained to her about the man's deceptive practices and aggressiveness. She said sorry and shrugged. He came over and started yelling at me again. He said, "I am the boss here!" Which the lady just told me he was not. When I explained to him about how he had not been honest about the price, he pretended he did not understand English well enough. I speak Czech, and I told him in his language that he understands perfectly well. And I told him it was the last time I'd be there. Such a shame, because I liked the shop and the other people who worked there.
