Delicious and fast service! Ordered the Paksiw and Chorizo Burger with spuds and Ube Ice Cream. Usually after all that meal, the fat from all the carbs, cheese, and meat feels heavy in the body. This doesn't feel like that at all. Maybe because of the bun that they use it still feels light and not greasy. My plus one and I were discussing about the price. If this are too expensive. For two portion of everything and 1 water bottle, it comes to $47 without tip. The portion for the burger is generous. We both think it is reasonably price for the quality and the portion. The spuds, they are more like tatter totes with pecorino cheese. The lapu lapu sauce was mayo based (kind of like non spicy siracha mayo). For $4, portion is like medium size. Taste wise, honestly it is just ok even with the fancy pecorino sauce and lapu lapu sauce. Still ordering it anyway because what's burger without fries, right?! The ube ice cream. It is really good. Not too sweet. It is $6 but there are not many places that sells Ube ice cream. We recently went to Hawaii, ube ice cream is $5-6 in there too. You can get it for $13 on a pint at Lapu Lapu. We notice that the size if you get it in the cone is bigger than if you get it in the cup. We both very satisfy at Lapu-Lapu. Review is more like 4.5 star than a 4 because the food is truly good regardless of the price. I wish they have a sink for hand washing, have indoor dining and open pass 3 pm. read more

I decided to take my sister to try Lapu-Lapu sandwiches for the first time . We both ordered Paksiw Sandwich OMG!!! What an excellent choice . I don't know how they do it but they make the most magically fluffy eggs known to human kind. I don't even like eggs on my breakfast sandwiches but when I'm ordering from lapu lapu I get it every time and I'm never disappointed only amazed. Plus their cheesy potato spuds are out of this world. I don't know if they have a patent on these crispy potato snacks but if they don't they should lol! I went there last Sunday morning, I guess I'm there first customer I pick up my food at 7:30 am. I ordered Bistek and Corned beef, me and my wife like the sandwiches. But the Corned beef for me taste better than Bistek and you can add there special sauce I think they called it Garlic Adobo Mayo. The Pandesal Buns are very soft and tasty. Never have I ever had a spam sandwich that tasted so good!!!! Everything on the menu is amazing. My co workers and i are hooked. The bread definitely tastes fresh baked. I love the concept of the menu. Reminds me of breakfast we made as kids when you take last night's dinner, toast a pan de sal, add egg and cheese. I wanted to like the food here but couldn't get over a few things. It's just not made the way I like my sandwiches. First, the pan de sal needs to be toasted more. Second, the bistek didn't have the bistek flavor I was expecting; bistek should be marinated with onion, soy sauce and lemon and these flavors should stand out but the sandwich kinda tasted like a regular cheesesteak which isn't a bad thing but not what I'm looking for. Third, the paksiw was too messy and again seemed to be lacking the flavor I'm looking for. I love the lechon from kuya ja's so they should really consider using the lechon in one of breakfast sandwiches. That would be a game changer for me. I need more crunch in my sandwiches! read more

OMG! I just had the Bistec sandwich and tots!!! Both we're delish!! But the sandwich - out of this world good. Make sure to get extra napkins as the sauce and egg will run down or lick it off so you don't miss any of the yummy goodness. Will be back soon to try more lapu lapu goodness. read more

A great breakfast spot. Located in the Kentlands area, the small size of the building with only a few tables outside for any dining it is the definition of a hole in the wall restaurant. At the same time, the small space is we'll keept and the staff are friendly so the place always feels approachable. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches from the classic egg and bacon to their truly memorable Phillipino sandwiches. The paksiw was phenomenal with its rich braised pork that melts in your mouth and the tangy pickels and vinegar based sauce that help to add nice contrast that the pork and perfectly fried egg offer. The bistek is also amazing with its thin sliced beef and cheese sauce gives off the impression of a Philly cheese steak sandwich until the soy seasoning of the beef and the adobo mayo kick in giving it a unique savoryness. tried Lapu Lapu for the first time, loved the soft serve UBE ice cream. it's so nice that ube is becoming more main stream and readily available. this is made on site, smooth and tastes authentic. I tried 3 sandwiches - the Spam, Paksiw and Chorizo. they were all great, my favorite was the chorizo, not too spicy and reminded me of longaniza on a bun. the pandesal bread was so good and kicked the flavor level up a notch. its a walkup window so no indoor seating but they have a patio area with tables and umbrellas. highly recommend! read more

Came here a Sunday afternoon and was not disappointed!! I got the Bacon egg and cheese and my friend got the spam. Both of our sandwiches were amazing. That Lapu Lapu sauce is so addicting and was amazing with the tater tots! Now that Ube ice cream was something else. It was so creamy and perfect definitely recommend ending your meal with one!
