It had been…read moreraining for 4 days which made the grounds very muddy but the vendors set up booths, tables, blankets, and hung items from fences and trees in between the puddles. We were on the hunt for junk -- read small vintage-old-retro items what we found was - Food -- butcher, cheeses, bread, package goods Household items -- cleansers, toilet paper, paper towels, knives, forks pots, pans -- new stock Clothes -- bras, socks, kids clothes, workout clothes, handbags, shoes, sneakers, jackets, sweaters, pants Furniture- sofas, kitchenette sets, formal dinning room sets Kitchens - shipping containers were turned into kitchen showrooms -- kinda cool Yard sale items -- old clothes, used toys, silverware all at yard sale or worse quality. The only score I got was 2 cigarette lighters for 2 zloty.

If you're local I'm sure there's an easy way to get there via mass transit. It's an outdoor market. During the week it's mostly food. On Sunday it's a junkers paradise. I didn't score too big there as it was the start of my flu and on my 2nd visit it started to snow -- a poster and a measuring cup. My cousin got a bunch of enamelware and opera glasses. If you're a junker from the USA, negotiations here are a little different. Back home if a vendor offer you a price, you offer 1/2 of the asking price, and the haggling begins. This did not work well for us one vendor grabbed the item from my cousin and told her to leave. Other vendors laughed and said NO! A few even took off a few PLN. Yes you can bargain but from what I've learned the more you buy from one vendor the better the deal -- it won't be 1/2 price. So haggling is ok but try not to offend anyone. I got to hit this market twice. If I didn't have to put all my treasures into a suitcase I would've purchased larger items - archaeology salvage, small accent furniture, glassware. If I lived local my apartment would be furnished from finds at this market.
