I have a child that has a lot of anxiety and it was recommended that we seek out a therapist who works with that kind of kid. He has been receiving cbt for about a year now and we have seen a huge difference in the way that he handles things that used to make him very nervous. I think that because they gave him real things he could do, instead of just talking about his feelings, he now knows that when he gets into a situation, he has something he can try to make himself less anxious. I give his counselor a lot of credit. It is hard to get a teenage boy to talk about anything with more than one word at a time!

I finally called the number provided in the email and left a voicemail. Someone reached back out via text asking how they could help (?!). I sent them screenshots of my appointment and asked if they had a record...still have not heard back from them.
