The people are very friendly (but not overwhelming), the services are beautiful (and the sermons are challenging), and the building itself is lovely and a wonderful place for contemplation. I had never attended a Presbyterian church before, and I felt right at home from the first time I visited. If you are looking for a small, friendly church, I would encourage you to check it out at 8:30 or 11 on Sunday mornings.

They offer both a traditional hymnal service, followed by a contemporary service which includes a praise band. They have a youth program that focuses on volunteer opportunities and teaching children to grow in their faith. There are also Sunday school and adult bible study classes available. They also offer a parenting class called faithbook, and a few social groups for the congregation to better understand eachother in their walk of faith. Pastor Galen consistently delivers powerful and moving sermons that touch the heart and point people to Christ. I have been attending adult membership/confirmation classes and have recently had both of my daughters baptized. I am proud to call St. John's my new church home.
