I had the BBQ burger and it was perfect to share with my 6yr old. The fries were good too. We started that night with a little cheese and bacon pizza which used a different type of cheese the my 6yr olds pallet could stand, but us adults enjoyed the flavor and crunch of the crust. The service was good, waiters helpful and spoke English well. A great experience for our first night in Ettlingen. Today we had a late lunch and my son and I shared a Chicken Cesar salad. He enjoyed a orange Fanta while I had still mineral water. They started us off with some small sampling of bread pieces with olive oil and black salt. It hit the spot and will be going back later for dinner when the hubby makes it back from his race.

My partner and I went here for dinner tonight, after we couldn't find an appealing restaurant in Karlsruhe. We went in mainly because it was air conditioned (it was super hot today), but we were really pleasantly surprised. We both got a pasta dish. She had pesto sauce, and I had a chicken korma sauce (yeah, it was a little weird). I liked mine despite it being an odd combo. Hers was really good. The staff were very helpful and mostly spoke English. They market themselves as a fast causal and healthy place. It was definitely fast a low price. The pasta didn't strike me as super healthy, but it was definitely worth it. We're only visiting for a week, but we'll be back.
