I love this company. They helped me find a good paying job in a short time. I sent my resume and within 5 days I had a job. Chris and his team are great people. They really care about their employees success. They will do their part you have to do yours. If you want to work this is the place to go. The problem is many people dont really want to work or they expect high wages when they have no experience in the field they are placed in. This is one of the more popular staffing companies in the greater Pensacola area. The people I've encountered who work there seem nice enough, but you just get the feeling you are just another number in and out of their office. I have been to their office on and off for a number of years during periods of unemployment and have never got anywhere. In fact I don't think they have even called me back or emailed me back once. They always tell you to check the website for jobs and apply for the jobs there. However the website is clunky and unintuitive, not to mention I can't keep track of the actual URL for it because it keeps changing (landrumhr.com, landrumstaffing.com, landrumwsc.bondadapt-us.com, ????). Whenever I make a profile, it never works and the pop-up just tells me to call their office. Profiles and logins seem to be completely different depending on which of the above 3 websites you are currently using. I spend more time on the phone talking to the people who set-up accounts and do mundane tech support with their clunky websites than I do any of their recruiters. These people by the way are very helpful, maybe they should be the recruiters instead? When I can figure out how to navigate to the jobs, and apply for them, even the ones I am clearly qualified for, I've never received any calls or emails or follow-ups from any recruiter. I even call in to make sure they received my information and I get a quick "yes" and that's about it. It's like it goes into a black hole and no one ever sees it. I have years of experience and a Bachelors of Science degree in engineering, have typing speed over 70wpm and am an expert in Word, Excel, among a host of other qualifications. One would think they could find *something* for me over these years. But it's pretty apparent they aren't even trying. I've never heard of anyone having any luck with this agency, don't recommend at all. 2 stars for the nice woman who helped me over the phone a few times, and the office seems clean and mostly professional. read more

We needed part time office help and failed miserably. After a much needed break from that disaster we waited a few months and then contacted Landrum. They were able to access our needs and supplied us with three very experienced candidates. One stood out as a perfect fit for us and we haven't looked back. I was very disappointed with my experience. I wasted quite a bit of precious time on this company and that makes me angry and disappointed. The only person who ever contacted me was someone from their "tech" department regarding my complaint that LANDRUM had mangled my resume with their logo. This individual was surly and seemed put out to provide the smallest of services. I applied for 30 jobs, and never heard word one, good bad or indifferent. With an MBA and loads of experience, I was hoping to at least get an interview. I hope your experience was better than mine. And you're still looking I wish you all the very best! read more

This place seems to be geared more towards fungible, mundane, industrial labor than actual professional, career type jobs. Which appears to work to their fiduciary advantage. There were quite a few people the day that I rolled in, waiting patiently in the front foyer. I needed a job, but a cattle call wasn't in my plans. They won't help you find a job, other than directing you to their 1990s-era website, with the attendant lack of functionality and user interface appeal. Again, I suppose that they don't have to try very hard because they have the industrial accounts for their bread and butter income. Pensacola and its environs are tough markets for job seekers. It sad that one of the most popular employment agencies is so useless and apathetic. read more

I am a capable bookkeeper of 20 plus years. I turned in my notice to my employer and he got a replacement from Landrum. The young woman admitted she only had "on line" quickbooks training and had never actually applied those skills in a real life situation. By day 2, it was a hostile takeover with her making comments like "Ya'll are on my damn nerves already today", "things here are going to change, cause I just can't roll like this"....and the list goes on. My co-workers have now called to tell me this Landrum employee has informed them I stole 50K from the company. If this is what she assumes by reviewing my accounting records, this lady hasn't a clue what she is doing. The Landrum employee rejected all training and was using Google for self training, she couldn't even calculate a time card. read more

Went to them when I first moved here in May 2012. They did NOTHING for me except waste a half a day of my time. I found a job on my own. My husband went through them, worked a job for 8 weeks, laid off. Promised they would keep him working trough the layoff, HA, phone hasn't rang one time from them. He has called, just to be told someone will call him back, guess what? NO ONE HAS CALLED. Bottom line. They lie. Din't waste your time. read more
