I have several beautiful pieces he's made or set and I wouldn't trust my precious stones to anyone else in Tulsa.

I got married almost three years ago and I hadn't cleaned my ring AT ALL. I knew I had to do it but…read moresince my husband bought it online, I wasn't sure where to go. I hear some jewelry stores offer complimentary cleaning if you purchase it from them. The ring was so dirty, it was really bothering me and I knew I had to take it somewhere even if I had to pay for the cleaning. This location opened not too long ago. It's where jiffy lube was located and the space is huge. I walked in and the two employees were immediately attentive and welcoming. I explained my predicament and they treated me like I was a long time customer. They examined my ring and since it's an opal and prone to getting damaged, they can't just put it in their cleaning machine. They had their jewelry expert (who works in the basement) clean it themselves. While I waited, they offered me water, chocolate, and a catalog of their latest collection. The price ranges vary widely, which surprised me. I thought everything would be super expensive but that's not the case. Once my ring was cleaned, they brought it back and it was unrecognizable. It sparkled again! I was so happy. It looked brand new. I asked how much I owed and they said nothing. I was floored. Is this normal? If so, I had no idea. They even told me I should bring it in every 6 months or at least once a year to make sure it stays sharp and all the diamonds are in place. I had never set foot in one of their stores but now I will definitely come back and actually purchase something. Highly recommend. The customer service is unmatched.

I needed my wedding re-sized, I had seen J. David's commercials and social media post so I decided…read moreto give them a try since they were close to my house. I'm so glad I did! And that's even when the first time didn't work. For some reason it was still too small. It was done quickly, price was reasonable, and they didn't charge for the second time around. Craftsmanship was incredible, you can't tell the ring had been re-sized. When I got it back they had polished and cleaned it up, it looked brand new. This is my new go to place.

I just had the most unhinged experience at their Harvard location with what I believe may be Abby's…read moreson. I took my ring in to be resized in late April. I picked it up several days later and it fit, so I left not thinking anything of it. Put it in my jewelry armoire as soon as I got home. Took it out several weeks later to put on and noticed the stone was loose. It's loose enough I don't feel comfortable wearing it, so I put it on my to-do list to take it back for the prongs to be adjusted. I called the store earlier this week explaining and they advised to bring it in. My dog got sick not an hour after I hung up so that consumed the next two days and I was unable to make it back. I went in today since I'm off work and explained and the man at the desk said he remembered speaking with me. He then inspects the ring and says it will be another $150 (on top of the $250 I paid for the resizing) to fix the issue. I explained it didn't seem logical for me to have to pay additional money for what was clearly an issue caused by the resizing. The man went on about how it wouldn't be fair to them, so I said, "Okay, I'll take my ring back, then." He wouldn't give it to me! He then said, "You have some options: you can either stand there and be hard, or you can take a seat and we can see if we can work something out with you." Appalled by his aggression and his unwillingness to hand over my ring, I stated again, "I'm good standing, and I'll take my ring back now, please." He proceeds to demand I leave "his" store, to which I replied, "I will GLADLY leave as soon as you give me my ring back." He finally returned it after I asked for the third time, all while getting even more aggressive and raising his voice about how they "don't want my business" as I was walking out the door. I was shaken by the aggression as it was, and then he started following me to my vehicle, still yelling; what, exactly, I don't know as I couldn't hear over the traffic noise. I immediately locked my doors as soon as I got to my car and left. There was a security guard there who witnessed the entire incident. I was never aggressive, never raised my voice, etc., yet was met with utterly unhinged behavior. Do NOT give this company your business. Women are clearly unsafe with this unstable man.

And boy have I found someone me deals! Paul then sixes the rings, fixes clasps, polishes and does repairs super reasonably!! And he always let's me know if I need an evaluation for insurance. Find a deal on FB marketplace or Craigslist?? Have them meet you at Paul's shop and he'll tell you if it's what's being advertised, and can probably help you determine if it's a fair price! So much safer that a QT parking lot . Paul and his wife are honest, local small business owners. No big jewlery chain controlling them and no middleman raising prices or lowering offers if he's buying your jewelry. BTW have you looked at the price of gold these days?? Grab your scrap and get some cash, and maybe even find a "new" vintage piece. I've been buying and sometimes selling jewelry all over the world for 25+ years and Paul is a rare breed of an honest, fair dealer. And if you decide not to sell it he'll help you re-size, repair or repurpose it so you can enjoy it again!

Returned the next day to pick it up. Paul could NOT find it! Tried to get me to take a different ring that was $750 LESS than my ring. NO! Then Paul realized my ring was still at his jewelers. When the jeweler finally delivered my ring to Paul, he had 1 customer in his office, another person waiting, and I was running late for an appointment. So he handed me my ring, and I left. I realize that my ring is now missing 2 diamonds on one side. Called Paul and told him. We schedules an appt for the following day. Next day I drive 65 miles only to find a sign saying the store was closed for the day. I took my damaged ring to my family jeweler, that has been in business for over 30 years and DESIGNS rings. He tells me that Paul's jeweler broke the crown on my ring, causing the 2 diamonds to fall out. As well as, instead of adding white gold to my ring, his jeweler had simply stretched my ring's shank, causing the crown to crack, diamonds to fall out, AND the shank was so thin that it needed to be replaced. I texted Paul copies of my repair receipts and what damage his jeweler had caused. Paul REFUSED to reimburse my expenses. I do NOT recommend buying from this company. There are several other similar companies with honest sellers.
