What an incredible atmosphere to watch a hockey game…read more My wife and I were lucky enough to be in town when Eisbaren Berlin were in the final. We got great seats in the upper level at center ice for around 70 Euros. Having previously worked in the NHL, we were blown away by the game presentation. The intros, fire on ice, fireworks from the roof, just awesome. And you can't forget the supporters group behind the goal - singing, cheering and bouncing throughout the entire game.

Our guide for the English tour was from Britain. He took us all over the stadium inside and out. He taught us the history of the land from its first stadium to its Nazi era to British Berlin to today. Note: To even enter the stadium there is a fee. Yours aren't always offered as the stadium is still in use for football (soccer) and concerts/shows.

Seit dem Stadionausbau vor einigen Jahren mit den überdachten Stehtribünen ist, die Stimmung nochmal spuehrbar greifbarer geworden und die neue Haupttribuehne sieht jetzt schon fantastisch aus. Also waer noch nicht da war sollte es dringend zum Spiel der EISERNEN mal schaffen. Und an unser Westberliner Publikum bzw. Schickimicki-Berlin-Urlauber: Anzugtreter und Hackenschuhe koennen getrost zuhause oder im Hotel bleiben ;)
