I absolutely LOVED my stay here. Staff was warm and friend and very approachable. I tried my hardest with the little German I knew. But thank God most of the staff understood English. For the few I crossed that didn't they smiled and would find someone to translate. Rooms are country chic. No space is wasted. Desk to work on business. But if your sights drift outside you see miles of land waiting to be played. After an extremely long late flight the showers provided hot water for a deep scrub from going through three airports and the beds were beyond comfortable for a good night and late morning sleep. I somehow awoke with time to get lost several times through the hotel. We can call that touring. And I still make the breakfast buffet. HUGE breakfast buffet. Germans know how to eat! Checking out all the golf great faces and names that were on the walls while I ate. I know little to nothing about golf but it was great conversation and allowed some kind folks to school me a little. After changing shoes I give myself a little sweat in the small gym. Mostly cardio but they also had free weights. Back to the room to change into bathrobe. Oh I forgot the adapter to charge my phone. Thankfully I was able to charge it through the usb connection on the tv. Go to spa elevator and my mouth almost dropped. The pool was huge. Then there's the heated outside pool. It was raining the night before and getting close to 30 degrees F (that's -1 C). So no I never tested that out. But the spa was awesome. Started to take pics of the area. Then I was reminded - people are naked lol. After several hours all I wanted to do was sleep away the raining weather. The beds are just so comfortable! It's the best hotel in the region of Stromberg, Hahn and Kirchberg and I highly recommend it. The staff are highly trained and polished plus very friendly too. The rooms are great for relaxing and are relatively spacious. I really liked the cleanliness which is most important to me. The restaurant buffets are very delicious and the selections will please all from carnivorous to vegetarian. read more

I stayed here on two occassions and there is little to fault about this hotel. The rooms are clean and have very nice bathrooms. There is an extensive sauna area and there is a large selection of spa and cosmetic treatments to choose from. Every room is provided with bathrobes, spa towels and slippers for the sauna/wellness area. Stromberg is a pretty part of Germany and is best explored by car (btw, should you arrive by train, you can only get to the hotel by cab). The hotel has a golfing range and you can take golf lessons. The breakfast buffet if extensive and although I cannot speak for the dinner buffet (included in the price), I can very much recommend the gourmet restaurant, I've had some superb meals there.
