They will call you and hunt you down relentlessly if you make one inquiry...from numerous numbers -…read moreeven after you tell them their prices were too high and that you aren't interested or you went with another company. They were polite on the phone but the reviews were not great online and their prices were higher than many others and the incessant calls literally during all hours of the day (even AFTER just speaking to one representative, a completely different one would call only hours later and on a couple of occasions just 1 hour later !!) so I'm not sure how they don't see these call logs internally but it does get to be TOO MUCH and is enough to leave a bad taste in a customers mouth. It would be nice if they're going to go out of their way to call constantly, to at least do an in person estimate of the actual property and lawn to see what's going on with it, and make custom recommendations...trugreen does not do this however they do have competitors that DO. I feel this is a missed opportunity on Trugreens part because they're so persistent with the calls and eager to get costumers. They could take that costumers service to another level and justify their price a little more by at least doing an in person estimate and not just looking at your property via satellite. Ultimately, the calls were just too too much and we couldn't justify the price for not bothering to quote us in person. Various representatives we spoke to over the phone were polite but it did all feel a bit pushy and we don't thrive off of pressure tactics or lots of calls. They also contract out for certain things which I know can be common for this field but idk how I feel about that for what they want you to pay them. Ultimately, the lack of an in person quote and the numerous daily calls led us to go with another company but perhaps trugreen does good work. Our neighbor uses them and their yard is beautiful so I'll give trugreen that!

That would have been fine, if it had happened. However, all of our communication happened via Yelp, and I never provided them with a phone number (nor did they ask for one), only the address of the property (which has been redacted in the pictures). And when I checked my phone records there were no calls placed to my phone from the business line listed, nor did they provide me with an alternate number they had called from.

To begin, no one was harmed, no foul language was exchanged, so, in the context of modern-day business interaction, the minimal standards appear to have been met. Alas, I recall a time when employees helped or at least trie to help. What has happened? I know that computerized inventory and marketing services have alienated owners and workers from the products and customers, but, c'mon man, can't we get basic questions answered correctly? My apologies for the mini rant, but the changes over the past four decades have been terribly frustrating. So, here's what happens regularly. I always call the location to ask if a particular product is available. I am told that it is. I make my way to the location and find a) the store is closed, b) the product is at the other location, or c) the product is not available. Sometimes my call is motivated by an email advertising specific products at specific prices. When I call, the person at the other end informs me that there is no email ad. Apparently, I am not looking at the ad. Apparently, I did not get the phone number from the ad. Apparently, I made up the names and prices of the products. Regardless, once the products are identified and prices confirmed (maybe I received an email ad), I make my way to the store to make the purchase. I enter, always the only person in the store, and learn that no one has any idea where the product of my interest can be found. How is it that 15 minutes after I call, suddenly the product no longer exists? Some day, ages hence, I shall again be tempted to support the local retailer only to rue the decision again.
