Me and my sweet tooth approve! I had a strawberry iced cake and glaze. The rest was shared with family. I wish they had my fav lemon filled. They also had a pineapple cake I wanted to try but it's only available on certain days. Great flavor and fresh.

Traditional donut shop. The staff was new and still learning the donut names and ordering processes. The donut was fresh and tasty. Would recommend for your donut cravings.

YUM!! If there's one thing you do, PLEASE try the Apple Spice Cake Donut. It was so soft and had the perfect amount of warm spices. The inside was clean and the service was super nice. We went on National Donut Day and got both for free! It was so good that I still think about them sometimes when I want a sweet treat. The texture was perfect on both donuts and wasn't overly sweet. I can see why they're so popular!

Good selection of donuts. Picked up a treat for our kiddo -- chocolate frosted cake donut with sprinkles that were also candy coated chocolates. Also grabbed a coffee for us. Location is interesting, kind of out of the way. I'd say worth going if you're in the area.

The store hours: which only mean the door is unlocked and not that they're actually open for business. No donuts at 7:24AM.

Unfortunately, I've never got to try the donuts. While they say they open at 4AM 6 days a week and 5AM on Sunday I've been greeted after 7AM three times on the weekend with "unfortunately we don't have any donuts." The accompanying picture was taken at 7:24 after we left yet again because they didn't have donuts. Seems odd, and while my daughter and I go for donuts every weekend and are trying everywhere we can, we've made our last attempt to get donuts from here.

A "dozen" assorted

Good service but only "fair" donuts, Lamar's is fortunate to have neither Dunkin' Donuts nor Krispy Kreme in the vicinity. I don't feel that the donuts are of good or better quality, but they were a mix of fried ones (like KK) and cake ones (like DD) with assorted sugary toppings. I did enjoy my peanut donut and the client liked the ones that they had. I got a dozen donuts to bring to my client's office and was surprised to see that there were only eleven in the box. I had told the girl to mix them up, but I guess the "invisible" one was somehow included. :-( Is $8.99 for a dozen expensive? I think that's more than I usually pay for the same from the DD near my home in Charlotte NC. Would I get donuts from Lamar's again? Yes, but only until KK or DD opens a store in the area.

Yes donut

Best donut I have ever had. Alittle pricy for a donut, but I gues you get what you pay for. Always friendly service

The employees are wonderful and the service is quick. Wish they would keep the bathroom cleaner though.

Very good doughnuts. No line and great service. I even liked the coffee. Service could have been a bit more personable.

Even though it's in DTC, this place is giving all the Hawaiian vibes!…read more I came here with the sole purpose to work in the afternoon and it was a much needed delight. Plenty of space, tables and outlets with strong WiFi and even stronger coffee! Since I've never been, I kept it traditional and ordered off their regular menu vs seasonal drinks. Coco MacNut Latte was pretty tasty, they will put it in a glass or cup if you're staying there which I appreciate. Staff was super friendly, clean bathrooms and they even had free smoothie samples to try. I'll be adding this to my working from a coffee shop rotation, mahalo!!!

Cute little coffee shop that really invokes a feeling of Hawaii in Denver. Love that local feel…read more Staff was friendly enough. I bought a bag of beans and a small drip coffee. I was hoping the small coffee would be free with purchase of bag, but I guess it wasn't. The bag of coffee wasn't cheap, so I was disappointed in how over-roasted the beans were. Adjusting grind levels and water temperature, there was always a bitterness or too watered down. The other flavors present in the beans, however, we're quite nice. I was hoping that they would have real kona coffee, but unfortunately their supplier suffered from disaster in Hawaii. Not going to blame them for that, but objectively speaking, if a Hawaiian coffee shop doesn't have Hawaiian coffee, then I am sad about it. At the same time, due to the circumstances, there is a compelling reason to throw some more support behind them.

There are coffee shops... and then there are places that seem to get you before you even order…read more Corvus Coffee Roasters is that kind of place. I walked in thinking I would grab a quick coffee. I walked out slightly reconsidering my standards. Let's start with the latte. Extra shot, because... life. And this wasn't just caffeine, it was precision. Smooth, layered, no bitterness fighting for attention. The kind of balance that feels intentional, like someone actually tasted it before handing it over instead of just pushing buttons behind a machine. And then the ham and cheese croissant. This is where things got serious. Flaky in that shatters just enough to make a mess but not enough to embarrass you kind of way. Buttery without being heavy. The ham had actual presence, not just a salty afterthought, and the cheese melted into it like it belonged there from the beginning. Indulgent without tipping into regret. And then... the pastry case. It is not a display. It is a trap. You think you have self-control until you are face-to-face with it. Everything looked like it had a point of view. Not just "we make pastries," but we care about what this feels like when you eat it. This is the kind of place where: You come for coffee You stay for the details And you leave already planning your next visit Not loud. Not trying too hard. Just excellent.

(Owners' note: it would do really well!) We all enjoyed our drinks, including an Americano, chai, and hot chocolate. I tried their gluten-free muesli slice, which was tasty, though I did notice that other GF items in the case are still displayed alongside non-gluten-free options which results in cross contact. (Yes, I'm that customer who keeps pointing this out!) I do hope they find a dedicated GF baker and rectify this issue soon.

The Turkish coffee was also disappointing and didn't resemble what you would typically expect. Overall, the visit fell short of expectations.
