First time there looking for calamari, tried their calamari and nachos both were delicious will definitely be back to try other dishes! Their hot sauce is fire (love)

Ate here today for dinner by myself after work as a paraprofessional at P.S. 12 Q. I had brought the habanero enchiladas and churros that it tasted really good and delicious. Many thanks to my server named Omar to get my orders right and had a very respectful manner towards me while I eat my meal. I couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Great food! I loved the Buffalo Wings. They tasted great and had a nice kick to them if you're looking for something spicy. The nachos and chicken tacos were delicious too! We had the "Dos amigos" drink and it was strong and tasted great with the hint of mint. Our servers were warm and very attentive. At night, it plays Spanish music and sporting games are played by the bar. Great place to grab drinks at or, sit down for good Mexican food.

Dinner with the fam at Laly's felt like bumping into an old friend who gives killer margaritas, especially that smoky al pastor stunner Ambience was cool Latino vibes, upbeat but cozy enough you don't need earplugs Tacos and daily specials hit every note, comfort food mixed with chef swagger Service was top tier, friendly without turning into your long lost cousin Left full, happy, and low key wondering how quickly I could score a carry out margarita!

Looking for authentic Mexican in queens???? Hop over to Laly's and get ready to be transported to south of the border. Sitting on the corner with large windows to people watch this ample tabled eatery is a must visit. The menu makes it pretty hard to choose what to eat when everything sounds so good. If you drink there's also an extensive drink menu. The staff was friendly and very efficient taking orders and quickly bringing out your items. You must order the guacamole with the sea salted chips, it's perfectly seasoned. Fish tacos on deck are a hefty portion and a lovely complex flavor to the fish. Ordered a salad made with arugula, apples, cranberries and cheese (select whatever topping you would like.....I chose chicken) the chicken was clearly grilled and spiced nicely. Can't wait to go back.

Came across this spot while searching for taco options. Laly's is a great spot full of variety and flavor. The menu strikes more like Mexican inspired diner, tons of breakfast and main meal options with Mexican inspired flavors and flair. We had the cheese flautas which were incredibly flavored and garnished as well as birria tostones. The cemita burger was an excellent touch. Combining the traditional flavors and ingredients of a cemita sandwich with a great hand formed burger patty was an excellent touch. Agua fresca michelada is a menu item I've never and was full of great flavor. Excellent, fast, helpful servers rounded out a really great lunch experience. Will definitely be back to try out more interesting menu items.

Enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and enchiladas with habanero sauce

The food was absolutely amazing. The sauce for the tomatillo was delicious. It was mild and flavorful. The shrimp enchiladas were delicious. The habanero sauce had a lightly spicy flavor and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and we were also serenaded by a guitar player. The ambience in the restaurant was traditional,Mexican with colorful pictures on the wall. Tres Leche cake was very sweet and decadent . It was absolutely delicious.

I came here with friends for brunch. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas and my friends got the salmon Benedict, churros pancakes, and an omelette. We all got coffee, which wasn't the best nor was it the worst. The wait service was good; the wait staff checked on us a handful of times for coffee and water refills, though food service was a bit slow. But we were in no rush, so all was good.

Really enjoyed the Cemita Burger and all its toppings. Just wish it had more refried beans. They have daily specials so make sure to ask what they are. Service was good. They play a good variety of Latin music so I could see it being busy on weekends. I came on a Thursday afternoon and it was pretty empty.

French Toast Breakfast

Great neighborhood place that does American classics as well as Mexican in a comfortable space. I went there for a week day breakfast and there were plenty of options to choose from. We got French toast, and a classic breakfast platter. Also wanted to try the tortilla soup. The portions were fair for the price and everything was tasty. I just wish they had more staff working cuz I felt bad for the one waitress handling the whole restaurant.

Veggie breakfast enchiladas

I wanted to venture beyond my usual neighborhood of LIC, so I decided to explore brunch options in Jackson Heights. Laly's menu caught my attention when I saw the paloma spritz. I couldn't resist the temptation and knew I had to give it a try. Additionally, they offered a variety of savory vegetarian brunch options which intrigued me. Upon arriving, I found the place to be charming with a local atmosphere. It had a spacious and clean interior, although it didn't particularly focus on aesthetics. Since it was Mother's Day, they were even handing out roses to all the mothers, which I thought was cute. As for the food and drinks, the paloma spritz exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly balanced and incredibly refreshing. For my main course, I opted for the vegetarian breakfast enchiladas. They were delicious and left and very filling. I was initially concerned about the habanero sauce as I'm not a fan of spicy food, but the waiter reassured me that the habanero was just one of several ingredients and that the crema would help tame the heat. He was absolutely right! The service was prompt, and the overall atmosphere was laid-back. Prices were reasonable, food was good, and many options for bottomless drinks.

Cemita Burger remember to take out the papalo leaf if you're not into that. Strong herbal flavor!

The staff is nasty. I will never come back. Take your business elsewhere. There are lots of better options on this Avenue.

I could tell he's a father!! We were a party of 8, celebrating 2 birthdays in the family, and they brought out the desserts with candles and sang. It was so special!!! The food was INCREDIBLE! I ordered shrimp cocktail appetizer and the entree from the specials menu. It was lamb shoulder franchisee. INCREDIBLE! My Mom had eggplant parmigiana- nice generous portion. One brother had trout, pasta. There was a lot of sharing and I don't even know all of the dishes. Forgot to mention the shrimp was HUGE. Fries looked perfect. The decor , vibe, ambiance-- loved . There were kid activities by our table. Large table with window view. Beautiful plants all around. They have a bar too. HIGHLY recommend The Queensboro!!!

My husband chose The Queensboro to celebrate his birthday with a brunch alongside my grandparents,…read moreand it felt like a great chance to revisit a spot we'd previously enjoyed for lunch and dinner. Food: 3.5/5 We made it a point to try a range of brunch options. My grandfather ordered the sweet potato and chorizo hash, I went with the two-egg combo with pork sausage (eggs over easy), and my husband chose the Moroccan eggs. Overall, the food was good and flavorful, especially if you enjoy dishes with a bit more nuance and influence from Spanish or Mexican flavors. That said, as someone who leans more toward classic American diner-style brunch, it didn't fully hit that nostalgic spot for me. It's not that anything was bad--it just wasn't the most memorable brunch I've had. Still, it was nice to explore a different side of their menu beyond the burgers, fries, and pasta we'd tried before. Service: 4/5 The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant. However, they do rely on a QR code-style menu, which can be a bit of a learning curve--especially for those who prefer a more traditional ordering experience. During the brunch rush, things definitely got busy and a bit overwhelmed, so service slowed down slightly. One tip: if you already know what you want, it's best to order everything upfront to avoid delays. Vibe: 3.5/5 Like many New York spots, space is tight. Even as a party of four, we were seated at a small square table, which could be challenging if you have strollers or extra belongings. That said, the space still feels cozy and neighborhood-friendly--great for a casual brunch, just not the most spacious. All in all, It's a solid neighborhood brunch spot with interesting, flavor-forward dishes and kind service. I wouldn't call it my top brunch destination, but I'd come back if I were in the area--especially if I was craving something a little different from the usual diner fare.
