The owner of the store waited on me personally, and she was extremely kind, helpful, and very professional. I told her all I was there for was some guitar picks. She was asking which type I wanted. I was a little, oblivious as to how I was supposed to do things, and she came in personally picked them out for me out of the little case which I should've been able to do myself, but didn't realize it. She was very nice and she explained to me some things about how it used to be her father's store until he passed away About four years ago.. I told her I didn't realize he had passed away, but that I had had some long discussions with him about drum symbols. That I thought he was a very nice and knowledgeable man and enjoyed our conversation very much and he educated me as far as drum symbols and other musical instruments were concerned. The owner gave me the guitar picks, and I tried to pay for them, told her that she didn't have to do that, but she insisted. I never have had anybody treat me so kindly in a business like that before. The other employees of the store, were very helpful, knowledgeable, and also educated me on guitars and various types of electric guitars. They had work to do, but they were also taking time out to answer my questions. I really appreciate that.! My time spent, at sound vibrations, was time well spent, conversing and learning from knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly people. They have a lot to offer, and a very good stock of quality products. It had been several years ago, since 2013, but I bought a drum set from them, and they were just as nice and knowledgeable as they were when I walked in there last Thursday. I won't go to another music store in this town. I'm very loyal and when I'm treated nicely and fairly , that is where I will continue to go. Thank you to you all at Sound Vibrations!

Yes, it is a smaller GC, but it still has everything I need. I usually get help by not one, but multiple people. Sometimes they just chat it up awhile with me. And when there was a problem with my amp on the delivery, they kept me in contact all the way with full disclosure. Only a 4 star because the hidden anti-large corporation part of me would scream out in defiance at a 5 star. Plus i've heard nasty things about GC being in debt. Bad. And yet I still buy from them. Probably for the same reason I still shop at Walmart. Well...just remember to support your local stores as well!

The Dallas areas stores have been amazing, but now I find myself living near Corpus Christi. I'll keep it short and simple. I have never heard of a GC this crap. Were I the boss, I would fire the whole crew and start over or shut the doors. I don't care to explain the incompetence, lack of motivation, and utter ignorance of every member of the sales team. Will I go back. 100% YES. I will use them as a return hub. I will order online/shipped to house. If I don't like it, the Corpus Christi store can deal with the return. If I want to audition a new instrument. I won't go into the store. I'll order online, play for 45 days and the Corpus Christi store can return it. They are now just a UPS return center for Guitar Center.I won't go past the front register unless I have to use the restroom; in which case, I won't flush.
