I have to say that I am not happy with my daughter's perm. It looked ok when we left the salon on Friday, but after we got to Lake Michigan and I was able to really look at it, it is SO straight in parts.
I showed photos to my sister in law who is a perm specialist and she is livid! She asked how the process went when doing Ellie's hair and I explained it to her. She asked if a test curl was done, or an allergy test on my baby's skin. NOPE! Mind you, she is ok, nothing wrong with her skin, but the point is that none of this was done.
What would I have done if we had gotten home and all of her hair fell out?!
How would you make that right?
Also, don't you do tests on skin to see if anyone is allergic?
Why was a test curl not done?
Because of the shape and condition my daughter's hair is now in, I have to drive over 4 1/2 hours to my sister in law's this coming weekend and pay for her to fix my daughter's hair.
I plan on coming in Monday morning to discuss the situation and ask that my money be returned in order to offset my new cost and also that a deep clarifying treatment be done.
She also now needs a protein deep condition treatment before my sil can fix the damage done. Not a happy camper, at all.
The ends of my daughters hair are frizzy now where they weren't before going in. I have to mess with her hair for at least 20 minutes in order to get the curl to show, and I should not have to do that! read more
