It is a long indoor strip that is fairly easy to walk from end to end. We stopped in for a few quick retail visits and arrived right when the mall opened, which was ideal since it was not crowded and stores were just opening. Everyone we encountered was pleasant. At the entrance, there was security present in a vehicle that patrols the area, which adds a sense of safety. The mall is clean and conveniently has the shops we wanted to visit all in one place. There are multiple directories available at the entrances and in several other areas throughout the mall. While we do not shop at the mall often, when we do, this is our most visited mall location.

It runs two city blocks and serves as a sort of the main street of Coral Springs. The Walk contains offices, shops, and popular restaurants. I visit The Walk at least once a week. Some of the restaurants I enjoy are Chicken Salad Chick, Burger Fi, Too Jay's, and don't forget the ice cream, chocolates, and caramel apples at Kilwins. The walk also has my favorite Trader Joe's, a Barnes and Noble, and Wild Fork Foods. Other businesses in The Walk include a dentist, banking, nail salon, insurance, waxing, and eye care. During the year The Walk holds events and concerts. Every March is the two-day Coral Springs Festival of the Arts. When something is going on parking can be a bit of a pain but normally it is ok. As far as strip malls go, this is my favorite one in Broward County.

Plenty of parking with only a few handicap spaces. The Phat Boy Sushi was at the corner and slammed with customers and one of my favorite sushi places. The Crocante Bakery and the Burger Fi are on my radar but sadly the Incontro Italian Steakhouse has gone out of business. Will have to check out the weekly and monthly music and art festivals.

There were also some students or volunteers or young new employees -- I couldn't tell which -- being given a tour of the store as we were there. Both were a bit distracting. They have some inventory that will appeal depending on what you're looking for... they don't have much furniture wise. There's a bit of a bunch of different things --linens, housewares, silverware, electronics, books, clothing etc., etc. Most things are organized together by category. Price wise, it's a mix of decent prices and high prices. They have some of the more expensive items near the counter. We didn't love something enough to buy anything here. But we are still glad we came to check them out.

I have eaten at Santo Buffet Modern American & Sushi many times, picked up fast food at Chicken Fil-A, and had an unpleasant experience at Wayback Burgers. Most recently I was here to visit a brand new Korean market, KOA Mart. Other businesses in the plaza include Pasquale's Pizza Company, Belfort Fitness Lifestyle, C.Colella Dentistry, Miracle Leaf, Passport Preschool, Aero Juice, and Calvary Chapel. In the outparcel there is a Regions Bank. What really sets this plaza apart is the lush landscaping and decorative plants. There are a lot of flowering trees which add beauty to the property. The plaza is well maintained and very clean. They did a great job integrating into Coconut Creeks theme of Butterfly Capital with lots of butterfly friendly greenery.

There are so many businesses I have come to love here over the years including Dylan's Country Kitchen where you can get a great breakfast or lunch, Hobby Lobby for all of your crafting needs, Jeremiah's Italian Ice for delicious frozen treats, Petco for your furry family members, and Bolay for quick and healthy meals. I used to take my daughter to the Pediatric Associates when she was younger. Best of all, a brand new Aldi's just opened replacing the Lucky's Market that closed. They even have a Gamestop and McDonald's if you are so inclined. I have been Royal Eagle Plaza many times and parking is always a breeze. What I love most about this plaza is that you can get several errands done in one place. They also have a lot of great food options. Royal Eagle Plaza seems to be on top of getting the retail spaces filled. It is not half empty like many strip malls. I despaired when Lucky's left but the Aldi's is a great fit. I am sure I will be coming back for many years to come.
