A lot of locals come here for the restaurant and bar. There have even been a fair share of celebrities golfing at this stress free relaxing course. I recommend making a day out of randolph. No note or anything. I look online and it doesn't say closed. I call and left a message on the voice mail. How disrespectful. We drive a few hours away for this golf trip and I receive no call back, no email, nothing about them being closed. What a joke. I'll never golf here again, or attempt to golf here. When I played they only charged me half price because it was sprinkling that morning when I had gotten there and because of a forecast of rain, there were barely any golfers out. A special thanks to Dan Rettig who scheduled our tee times more than a week prior to our outing. Reserving a tee time is usually just 3 days prior to your day of golf but he let us schedule early since we had a group of 7 and we had to arrange transportation and finalizing who was going to be able to play due to work schedules. As it turned out one of members could not make it at the last minute. You can bet that I will be returning here on another day to challenge those tough greens.

The plus side to that is we had the whole course to ourselves because the Chautauqua institution people were finally out of town. In summer this place is so jam packed with tourists that I never even bothered to try until now. It's $25 for 2 sodas and 2 people to play unlimited mini golf. It was a lot of fun. There are trash cans, benches, and Adirondack chairs throughout if you need a break. Staff were really nice and they still have the icecream shop open as well as the driving range which is fun!
