We were next to a long term permanent camper, weeds we're growing around camper and sewer hose was going uphill making a very pleasant experience every time they flushed. They ha d two dogs in camper while they were at work that barked every time my grandkids or anybody else in the area made noise. We had to pay an extra 15 dollars to hold our site after booking so our families could keep side by side camp spots. Also added electric after the 6th day, so another unknown expense. The only bright spot is the pool , but after noon on Friday it is overtaken by the permanent sites owners and the kids are ran out or feel like they can't have fun while in it. My family will not spend our time and money here again . There are many better choices in area

Had a nice mini fridge, tv, coffee maker, a table to eat at, a desk, and in the bathroom they had makeup remover wipes to prevent people from ruining the nice white wash clothes. They also had the softest sheets I've ever seen at a hotel. This place is right on the water and across from a gas station and dollar general. It is 5-7 mins from Coconuts for your bar/partying needs. Very close to several small bars and restaurants. Great location. They have boats and kayaks to rent if you'd like! Also the woman at the desk offered to pick us up if we couldn't find a ride and drank too much. Which luckily we didn't need but I thought that was incredible customer service I never would've expected from a motel. Such a great place! Hope to be back

I didn't arrive at the Water's Edge Motel expecting a 5 star resort, but was looking for somewhere…read moreclose and convenient to our family summer home which was full of visitors during a family reunion weekend. I am not sure where to begin with this place. Unfortunately, we don't have any other options but to stay here when we are in town visiting family. The woman who runs this hotel is BEYOND rude! If there were any competition in this city she would be out of business. On a positive side, the grounds of the property are nicely groomed, nothing fancy but cute! They offer a few different rentals, BBQ pits, and a nice sun dock. The rooms themselves are fairly clean (beyond a few hairs) but again nothing special. Our room had a very musty smell, loud air-conditioner, lack of towels, low functioning shower, and to top it off a fly swatter hanging in the bathroom! Positives in the room were a fridge and a nice TV. The worst part about this location is the woman who runs it- absolutely rude, inconsiderate, and down right nasty! This motel certainly has potential to be a decent spot on the lake but certainly has a way to go!!!!
