Great! nice way to spend a couple of hours.
It's not a riding school in the traditional sense, it's more a place to go to for treks and walks through the countryside.
The horses are lively, and the instruction was earthy and direct. You're likely to be told "wallop him" or "give him a good kick in the ribs, you're just flapping at fresh air". Which is nice as it's rare you're given useful tips or that you're allowed free rein with your horse at a rental. Having said that, the staff do their best to line you up with something suiting your skills, and then trust you to live up to that.
Great scenery, and lovely treks along a beautiful lake. The people are also very friendly. read more
