They are made from scratch and boxed to go! There are Mexican sodas in a barrel full of ice by the register to drink if you don't want a fountain soda. An array of cigarettes line the wall behind the register. There are several aisles of snacks and " I need that" items. Naturally, there is beer in the far back cooler along the East wall, complete with canned and bottled soda. Outside, diesel and gas pumps stand ready to fuel your vehicle before you head out to finish your destination. Trust me, I will be back again and again on my journey to and from OKC.

Get there early in the day for their best and most famous offering, Arbuckle Fried Pies. Yes, those world famous crusty folded and fried pockets of fruit filled heaven. On an unwavering mission, we rounded the corner east bound on Route 66 late in the afternoon. Our destination in sight, the Old Magnolia Garage. In I go, straight to the big fried pie display case. I really wasn't expecting to find anything left at this time of the day, but there they were, two blackberry pies. Somehow, they survived the morning feeding frenzy. They were immediately adopted, along with a strawberry. Tomorrow's breakfast delight. Nope, not as good as if I had been there when they came from the fryer, but good just the same with a fresh cup of coffee the next morning. Get there early!

Employees are very nice. The store is large and has everything you need including the typical hot food served at convenience stores. They have good hot coffee too. On our way home we made sure to stop at this location again to get our gas, use restroom and  get our snacks. Let me tell you driving cross country many many times it can be scary opening that bathroom door but rest assure this place is clean! If travelling  through Oklahoma on I-40, the Yukon exit is a great place to stop.The town is clean and pleasant with ample restaurants too. It was a lot cheaper at On The Run Convenience & Deli than it was to purchase snacks inside the hotel. Some of the items inside the store include the following Chips (Lays, Ruffles, Doritos, etc..), Cookies (Nabisco), etc.. Soda (Mountain Dew, Coca Cola, Pepsi products...) Ice Cream Candy Cup Ramen Dips Energy Drinks There is a Deli in the back if you were interested in a sandwich. They are definitely more expensive than a grocery store, but the convenience makes up for it. I think what makes this such a great Walgreens is that the staff is just so friendly and helpful.
