The Guide's Pantry - White Chocolate Saskatoon Berry Scone ($7.50) - not overly sweet as a whole, but much less berry and white chocolate than expected

This little spot is a good option for grab-and-go goods but is definitely pricey! It's open to…read morevisitors and guests of the hotel. There is no seating available so it's more of a to-go option (big hallway with windows if you want to stand and eat). Besides coffee and tea, they also had a refrigerated section that changed throughout the day (e.g. chia seed pudding and breakfast burritos for breakfast) and (some very $$$) fruit cups. A pastry case filled with croissants, scones, breads, and muffins + a pantry of shelf stable snacks. There was even hot oatmeal in the AM and protein tea to try. We tried most of the wraps and sandwiches, and they were all hits with the family-- the big breakfast burrito was tasty and very filling, and I personally loved the Mediterranean veggie wrap which was loaded with veggies and flavor! It was more on the mushy texture side, but the hummus made everything super creamy and delightful. Dessert didn't match their savory game, but I may have just ordered the wrong things. The giant cookies were pudgy and beautiful, but the textures were crumbly, the named flavors were a bit muted besides being sweet (but surprisingly wasn't super sweet?)-- not my preference. They had fillings inside (cream cheese for the Oreo flavor, and nutella in the other). I also tried honey apple cake, and it was a delicate lighter dessert for those who enjoy things less sweet (I stopped after 2 bites). Maybe the desserts here are more geared towards people without a heavy sweet tooth! Service was super nice; the team was always friendly and welcoming with smiles. They offered to heat up the food without prompting as well. There's a water station and sink next to the utensils and napkins area. Stop by if you're in the area for some yummy fare. If we're ever back in Banff/Lake Louise area, I'll definitely return!

I don't give out many one star reviews but I got food poisoning from eating an overpriced wrap from…read morehere and it ruined a few days of my vacation. Very upsetting. I got a Mediterranean wrap for $22.50 CAD. It tasted off and I only ate half before throwing it in the garbage. Part of the reason I tried to finish it was because of the high price but I should have known better. I was expecting majority falafel and/or veggies inside the wrap but most of the wrap was actually filled with a paste that had a bitter aftertaste to it. Looking back that paste must have gone rotten because I woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning symptoms after a few hours. They sell wraps, coffees, chips and drinks here for a high price. No public restrooms either.
