Multiple tables around us were sat and had completed their meals while we were still waiting for ours. We asked the staff 3 times to check on the status of the food and each time they said they would but then didn't provide an update. At one point, I asked the hostess to check on the food and she said "you'd be better off asking the kitchen". Finally, our waitress had the manager come to the table, at the time our food came out and he gave no reason other than "sometimes food takes time". The steaks did not even come out looking appetizing or as ordered, one was gray. We ended up leaving without eating. Would not recommend.

We wanted a restaurant/bar that had some people but wasn't packed, so we could still hear ourselves. Theophilu's fit the bill perfectly. They offer a good selection of port wines, but we opted for the 6 port tasting for €20. It's cool because they actually bring the bottles out to your table and pour it into the glass in front of you while telling you what they're pouring. Honestly felt like I was at a winery doing a tasting. Afterwards, they leave the bottle at the table too, so you can reference it if you forget. Our favorites were the Tawny 20 and 30 years, though I enjoyed the white as well. I really enjoyed this experience of trying port in the place where so many port wines are aged.
