I cried from the detail shots all the way until the pictures from the reception. We did our engagement shoot with Anthony at Valley Forge with our two kids, 1 year old daughter at the time and he was great! They were by far my favorite family pictures we have ever done. The pictures for the wedding day were beyond natural which is exactly what I wanted it to be. I didn't want things to seem posed or have to re pose for pictures. They caught majority of the pictures in action, and pictures that they didn't catch the poses were not unnatural and the pictures came out perfect. I had every intention to do my first looks at the venue which we had a decent amount. I was doing one with my son, my dad and obviously my husband and my husband was going to do one with our daughter. Cassandra last minute suggested that we do mine and my dads first look at the hotel which was the perfect idea! It saved us time when we got to the venue where we didn't have to rush around to fit in an extra first look and my dad could be with us right away. We also did a video with them and that was beyond amazing I cry every single time I watch the videos and I probably will cry every time I watch them. Anthony and his team was beyond amazing, from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. Everything was effortless for us. Cassandra was beyond amazing with keeping everything on a perfect schedule and making it run smoothly and dealing with my husbands crazy groomsmen. I felt zero stress throughout the day or like I was being rushed and it helped me enjoy our special day even more. A dwarf star of excellence? A teacup elephant of professionalism? A SmartCar of happiness? Well, she is all those things and more. Lindsay was one of two photographers we hired to shoot our wedding. We had seen her work before, and were captivated by her detail work and wonderful compositions. Since we were doing a very small 'pop-up' style wedding, we knew we wanted someone who would not only be able to capture the short ceremony, but also the entire day surrounding it as we traveled from the hotel to meet our family, and all left together for the reception dinner. I'm finally comfortable taking pictures on manual mode--or at least attempting to--and I have a better idea of what to look for in terms of ideal light. Prior to her class, I was stuck on AV mode. The class does cover some technical detail, but for the most part, it's hands on. It was very laid back, and not intimating what so ever. I found the class very beneficial. Devon Anne Photography has also done our Christmas pictures and newborn pictures, in her studio. The newborn session was especially relaxed, go with the flow, and not stressful. With a 2 year old and brand new baby in tow, I really appreciated that.
