At Ladybug Child Care Center, our mission is to provide a joyful learning experience for your family that empowers your children to reach their educational and personal potential while lovingly nurturing their self-confidence and self-esteem.
We believe every child is unique, every child has the ablility to learn, and that every child learns best through play.
Ladybug offers age appropriate curriculum for children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, that will prepare your little "bug" for kindergarten. Children in our AdventureCentre (kindergarten through 6th grade) experience fun through play before and after school, on school release days, and in our summer program. We also offer age appropriate playgrounds which allows each child the opportunity for safe, outdoor play.
We are proud that Ladybug has been family owned and operated for over 30 years.

History
Established in 1981.
Founded in April 1981, Ladybug Child Care Centers, Inc. is still an owned and operated family business. The original facility which served children ages 6 weeks to age 8 has grown throughout the years.
In 1987, Ladybug opened what is now called the "AdventureCentre" which cares and teaches school-age children from kindergarten to age 12 at Crown of Glory Lutheran Church in Chaska.
The Preschool Learning Center and the AdventureCentre became one Center in 1997 and has a licensed capacity for 153 children ages 6 weeks to age 12.
Ladybug staff members understand the importance of fostering a love of learning--a love that can last a lifetime.
At Ladybug, we will prepare your child's heart, mind, and body to ensure their success as a life long learner.

Meet the Business Owner: Miss Connie K.
Who ever heard of a 4 year old and a 6 year old naming a business? But, odd as that may be, it is what happened. When I conceived the idea of opening a child care center, as they were called back in 1981, I first looked at the names of other centers. Problem was those names all seemed to adult or too stuffy to be about children. So, I consulted an expert on children -Mother Goose. But now, how to choose? What would be easily remembered? Gripped by indecision, this time I turned to non-experts, people for whom the world was simple and simply fun-the 4 and 6 year olds mentioned at the beginning of this story. Let us not forget their 2 year old brother! Together, they declared "Ladybug" it would be, and thus it is!
As for that 6 and 2 year old--well, they grew up; but still attend Ladybug everyday! You know them as Miss Michelle and Mr. Stephen! And during more than 30 years, Ladybug has been home to my six children and my other 5000 or so!
