My best friend had recommended it, and she was right, it's a great base for actually experiencing the city, not just passing through. I looked at places in Palermo but the hostels there were way more expensive, and honestly downtown felt more central and lively than I expected.
Classes were genuinely fun,lots of conversation practice, some games, and occasional outings where you actually get to know your classmates. I made a few friends I'll stay in touch with. The building itself is nice, but I ended up spending most of my free time on the rooftop terrace when the sun came out. Teachers were consistently good, and the staff were friendly and helpful from the start, it never felt like a faceless language school.
Would recommend, especially if you're serious about putting in real hours and want to be somewhere with a bit of energy around you.
