Money hungry hacks do not go here! For starters, I called back in 2021 to see someone regarding…read morestomach pains after eating, and granted, we were still coming out of the pandemic. I figured there would be some waiting till I was seen. Instead, I got a call back telling me to drink water and eat fruits and vegetables. Good luck. So, I went on until 2023 when I had found myself extremely ill for several months till I broke down and called these jokes of "medical professionals" to where I was then treated as if I were a hypochondriac by the representatives I spoke with. After finally getting an appointment and being seen by Rebecca Hughes, it was apparent to me as well as my "physician" that I was having issues with my gallbladder but not till she insisted that it could be my anxiety causing me distress as if I don't know my own body, Becky. The person who I wouldn't trust caring for the well-being of a fly eventually scheduled me for some simple tests to verify. After said tests were performed and my vein in my right arm was ruptured from a horrible phlebotomist in MVHS labs, it was apparent the gallbladder had to be removed. To this, they wasted no time scheduling me a consultation with a surgeon within their own company and refusing to get me to the one I had requested to see. I was told that the hospital I requested does not accommodate said issue, but I was welcome to try to call and schedule another consultation myself. Great patient care, huh? It gets better. I went to my consultation to see this highly recommended surgeon "Dr" (I use that term loosely) Thomas McBride only to discover to my surprise a malpractice lawsuit pending against him in the supreme court from October of 2022. This "health care profession" proceeded to tell me if he had it his way he wouldn't consult with insurance companies for surgeries and also snuck in conversation how much people have to sue you for in other states. Real refreshing information. After this, I then demanded my referral, which took roughly a month to get, and upon reaching out to see what was taking so long, I was told "paperwork" from my original referral. Eventually, I got my referral I had requested. I only would have to wait eight months for my initial appointment since MVHS dragged their feet. Since the individuals that were supposed to be looking out for my health dragged their feet, the pain became unbearable and I had to take matters into my own hands and reach out to Bassett Healthcare to whom are amazing and I recommend. The issue is now almost resolved of no thanks to MVHS. I say save your time and money and find a doctor who cares for your well-being and not one who only sees you as a paycheck.

Plus every time we had a question she stopped and explained things perfectly. Definitely important to have an inspector who does that when buying a house! The first home didn't end up working out for us, but since Annie was so great we asked her to inspect the second home And if we ever need to buy again we will definitely call her.
