Patients who have difficulty negotiating automation may need help w the check-in but the process works well and probably helps Quest keep prices down. However the blood draw did not go well. The phlebotimist's jab did not produce any blood in the vial and but did produce a shooting pain on my arm which I describe as a 9 out of ten (ten is worst ever). The phlebotomist seemed confused about how to proceed and finally called a more experienced employee, who drew blood without a problem or pain. Phlebotomist #2 seemed expert, while phlebotomist #1 seemed inexperienced and unsure of herself. prior to today I have had more than 40 blood draws without pain or inciden. My advice: avoid the inexperienced phlebotomists at this facility.

The next day I find out she is not going to prescribe suboxone for me she's too afraid, ridiculous. I would like to know why they make drugs for pain and withdrawal but the D E A has doctors so afraid to prescribe any opiates it's ridiculous. I'm 67 years old and I shouldn't have to suffer this way when there are medications to help!! I would not refer this clinic to anyone!!!

I felt like finally my doctors were catching up with all of the things that have been pushed to the background for me over the years I spent at traditional medical offices. My first provider retired and I then moved to the Lyndale location and things began to change. My time with my provider was limited, It appeared to be a 20 minute maximum appointment. I intend to stay at Herself Health but I feel like someone is pulling at my provider's arm trying to get her away from me and on to the next patient for whom she will have another 20 minutes. This is a change from my previous experience at Herself Health. I don't like it and I feel like there's an accountant somewhere in the background telling my provider she needs to get on with it. There doesn't appear to be anything I can do and I am less enthusiastic about the depth of medical services I am given here.

I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant and have had all my prenatal appointments (and a couple regular…read morefemale health appointments prior to pregnancy) at this center. I have had nothing but good experiences here with the staff and nurses. No issues with making appointments, and lab tests have all been handled timely and easily. I'm a tough stick for blood draws and haven't had issues with lab techs not being able to draw blood. I ADORE my OB at this practice, Dr. Margaret Enadeghe. She is the first OB I've had who's taken the time to listen and respond to every single one of my and my partner's questions. Even when I nervously ask the same question multiple times over several visits! We are never rushed, however long she needs to spend with us to make us feel comfortable and informed, she does. She's a lovely person and a new mom herself, and happy to share her experiences tackling motherhood, which I've really appreciated as I'm becoming a first-time mom as well. Also, for folks who have ED/body dysmorphia issues, Dr. Enadeghe is incredibly sympathetic. I have disordered eating and was really worried I'd be tempted to restrict calories because of pregnancy weight gain. Thankfully, Dr. Enadeghe told me there was no need for me to even LOOK at the scale when they weighed me. She said she would inform me if anything was out of the ordinary, and assured me that the number on the scale wasn't a concern. This approach really helped me and made me much less anxious about my body's changes during pregnancy. I also really like the policies put in place by the clinic. I think they try to stay on top of current academic research and are consistently changing their protocols, instead of just sticking with antiquated methods. Quick example: I'm a research junkie and learned there's relatively new data that states it can be beneficial to the newborn to delay cord cutting after birth. This helps with hemoglobin levels and a bunch of other stuff. I asked Dr. Enadeghe about this and she said it was standard policy for the clinic to delay cord cutting.

Let me first say that I've been going here for years without any issues. 2 weeks ago I went in for…read morea mammogram and it was the worst experience that I've ever had with this procedure. The technician kept pushing me into the machine while complaining that I needed to relax my shoulder more. I tried for her but she wasn't happy with my position. She then said that there was a history of my doing this in my chart. Before I could respond she said that I was making too much of this and that most women were OK with this procedure or words to that effect. This is where I began to lose it and I told her that I didn't know any woman who were OK with mammograms. How the hell did she know what I felt during the procedure. People tolerate pain differently. Also if you want a person to relax try not shoving them. The day after the procedure I had a rash underneath my breast from being pushed and having my skin rub against the machine. It took a few days to heal. I'm still dealing with some neck pain from the abusive treatment. So if you think nothing of getting a mammogram this is the place for you. But if you want to be treated respectfully find another place. BTW on a more positive note I found the office staff to be wonderful.
