But I chose Labcorp in recent times due to a move; for proximity - 5450 Knoll N Dr. Ste 150, Columbia Md 21045. I met an unpleasant grey-haired older lady. No patience! No social awareness! Bad morning attitude. I thought it was me until she spoke rudely to an elderly man like he was a child! Preposterous! We all have jobs where sometimes you have to meet people early in the morning; whether in-person or on "Teams". Its a job, if you need coffee to "wake up", you get some, and you come to work showing respect and appropriate attitude to clients. I'll go to Quest in the near future. This was a well organized labcorp! They have multiple check in stations, with alcohol sanitizer wipes, and process is very simple. The seating is spaced out and be mindful of those who are elderly to get up and stand up and let them sit. Remember to bring your doctors test orders, know what kind of tests you're getting especially if you're required to fast. You don't want to waste a trip. Parking is ample and it's on the first floor when you walk in the building. Definitely recommend this facility for those who need to get health and lab testing done. read more

I think I had bad experience with the staff at another LabCorp location near the hospital a few months ago, so I tried this location. I thought that this location was much better staffed and kinder than the folks at the location near the hospital. They helped me close to the appointment time. They had a little bit of trouble holding my 4-year-old son's arm still, but corrected the issue. read more

This is the second and last time I go to this location. The checkin staff was very nice and professional, but the phlebotomist who worked with my mom was not properly trained, or didn't apply her training. First, the phlebotomist was informed that my mom was on a blood thinners and she said "you'll be ok" and failed to hold extra pressure or apply a compression bandage so her arm bled through the bandage. I checked her arm when she came out and the small bandage had been saturated with blood. I sent her back in (after consulting with the nice checkin person) and she got a compression bandage. Second major issue: This phlebotomist had an order for a urine culture (the procedure is usually to wipe with 3 cleansing wipes and catch the middle of the stream). My mother received ZERO instructions on how to collect this sample (failure to collect the sample correctly makes the results UNINTERPRETABLE). My mom asked (because I told her to) for wipes, and the phlebotomist said "we don't do that here". Seriously, WHY would anyone say that? As a lab you cannot decide not to follow standard sample collection procedures! Luckily, they leave wipes in the bathroom, so she used one. Labcorp, you should be ashamed of yourselves!! Hire some secret shoppers and see for yourselves! read more

If I could give this lab 10 stars, I would. I was in their office yesterday with my mother. She is in a very fragile state, because she has been sick for so long and it has taken a toll on her. She could not find her Medicare card, so we were going to have to pay for her medical tests out of pocket, which was going to be thousands of dollars. Margie at the front desk was extremely helpful and provided guidance on how I could get my mother's medicare ID number. We were able to get it quickly, so Margie really saved the day and helped to calm our frazzled nerves. Jojo did the blood work and she could not have been more calm and patient with my mom and the tests were painless. I have had her for my own tests in the past and she is a delight to work with. These 2 ladies really helped with a tense situation and were invaluable to us. They are wonderful ambassadors for Labcorp, and we will definitely use this location in the future any time my family needs testing done just because of them. Thank you again, Ladies!!! read more

The lady was sweet but she was not only carrying another clients blood vial but there was an old drop of blood on the chair that I was required to sit in... The front desk lacked professionalism as I was called up 3 times... Why??? Dont go here! read more

Wow! There must 30 people here and the wait they say is an hour! Atmosphere is bleak.

I had a plaseant experience. There was no problem checking in for my appointment I made online. My daughter had to have blood taken (10 months) and 2 ladies came in to draw the blood. My daughter barely even cried! They were so gently and fast. After reading the reviews I almost didn't come but I'm glad I did. I would recommend and come back to this one next time she needs blood drawn. The whole process took less than 20 minutes. read more
