While she was retrieving the empty blood vials she kept repeating herself asking the person on the phone "if they needed anything". While having access to my personal health information she could have taken a picture of my personal data and shared it with anyone for malicious purposes. I was appalled at her unprofessionalism and her ignorance of the HIPPA and Privacy laws. This is basic employee training of the federal guidelines to be compliant under the HIPPA laws. This sheds poorly on GBMC Health Partners.

I am neither a Luddite nor a graduate of Mumbai Polytechnic, but it does amaze me that I can do all the data entry on the front end but for some reason an order for bloodwork must be hand delivered on paper since data transmission between Johns Hopkins Medicine doesn't work. Hopkins has their problems, but 'rude seems to be part of the corporate culture at Labcorp. I would go so far as to say that they have driven absolutely as much cost out of the business as is possible - there was literally one person at this location as far as I could tell. When I said I was struggling to understand how Labcorp and one of the worlds best hospital systems couldn't sort out a data transmission issue at this point in the 21st century, she responded "Welcome to my world". I know "awful" is the default phlebotomy experience. That anyone should feel uncomfortable getting stabbed by a barely verbal stranger seems lost on them. Maybe it will get better when the rise of the machines is complete. I won't hold my breath.

The phlebotomist was extremely rude and did not even apologize for her lateness with keeping customers waiting. She was irritated that the kiosk wasn't properly working, basically taking it out on the patients waiting. Overall very poor experience and will definitely find a new location.

I walked in the office, clicked the link and was called about 5 minutes later. Ms Regina took me back to a room, asked me questions and then took blood. No pain or second attempts. She was good. I will come back. The only bad part was the darker dirty out dated feel of the place. But hey I wasn't staying long so 5 stars for the place.
