We have used Ed Starr for the past several years and had been very satisfied with the work. We…read morecalled early March 2025 and scheduled the window cleaning for June 26. One week prior they asked to re-schedule to July 8 as they were having staffing issues. We understood. We received a call the night of July 7 confirming an arrival time of 8 am the next day. Then at 7:37am on July 8 we receive the following text: " this is Kim w Ed Starrs window cleaning, Ed looked at your file this morning and it showed a red flag that was accidentally missed by our office gal. Your residence has high 16 ft or more ladder and tucker pole services that we no longer do. We will not be able to do your services today or any longer due to over 16ft tucker pole and ladder work. We have scaled down on the high services due to insurance costs and high risk for our company. We sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. Again, we will not be at your residence this morning. Ed Starrs window cleaning." This was our reply: We feel that this was very poorly handled on your part. We have been repeated customers for the past three years and referred you two additional good customers. The team had been to our house so it was not a surprise that it is a two-story house. To send a text 15 minutes before anticipated arrival time after we had scheduled months ago... seems unprofessional. At least the courtesy of a phone call would have been appreciated. I waited to post a review hoping to hear from them but it did not happen.

I can't remember the last time our windows looked so good. I was impressed with Ed's candor and knowledge as to what he was using and why. Given the quality of work and end result, I can definitely recommend Ed Starr's Window Cleaning.
