I have been a fan for many years, and I have called in a few times to give my two-cents-worth of traffic updates. You're the first ones I listen to in the morning, and you have saved me time on several occasions by announcing traffic situations. Given the construction going on up and down the pass and the strange weather patterns, it's hit-and-miss throughout the week. If you're driving up or down the Cajon Pass, the Y-102 show will keep you informed. This station provides a good mix of talk show banter, news, traffic, music, and local happenings. Things have changed. I of course was listening like I always do when the morning DJ Mychal Fabela felt compelled to voice his valued opinion live on the air while we were all listening. The point he was making was how wrong President Trump was wrong for saying NFL team owners should fire the SOB's that refuse to stand for our National Anthem. I get it Mychal you have the mic, and no one can respond to your comments, we just have to listen to you. If you don't like the president that's fine. If you support millionaire athletes that refuse to stand for our National Anthem that's fine too. But don't go one a five minute diatribe with your personal opinions on live radio and not expect consequences. Country music fans love their country, flag, and veterans that fight everyday for us. Just play the music we love, keep your political opinions to yourself and we'll keep listening. I posted this on Facebook and was getting overwhelming support but guess what? You had it removed . Why? So no apology on the air? That's fine too. We are you listeners. This is not the Mychal Febela political hour. Get your own show and call it that. If you want to discuss the other side of your opinion open up the phone lines to your listeners and we'll have that discussion live on the air just like you did.
