The place is small if someone walks in the door or is in the reception waiting..they're gonna hear your conversation or screams or any thing you might utter. Wasn't really comfortable with that..but all other things perfect

I've been here twice so far and had two very different experiences…read more Yes you have to wait a long time but if you have time to stop by they will tell you when your appointment will be so you can come back then. Which is nice not having to sit there for an hour + The first time I went it was about an hour wait, and the woman who waxed me was gentle and did a lovely job. She talked to me and made me feel comfortable about getting a bikini wax. The second time I went I had to wait longer, but I think that had to do with the time of day. The woman who waxed me was anything but gentle. She didn't seem to be experienced? She didn't use any baby powder and when I told her that the wax was very hot her response was "yes it is" ....usually they cool it down a bit especially on such s sensitive area! I don't know if I'll go back again because you don't seem to be able to choose your aesthetician.

The "depiladoras" clearly have no time to ask common questions like "Is the wax too hot"? or even try to make the experience as painless as possible. I would recommend Wax In The City to those who wants a salon conveniently located and "without risks" (clean and with professional staff). However, if you already know a smaller salon with a nice staff who has time to do the work... Don't leave it.
