My husband, daughter, and I had lunch at La Vita E'Bella, a pizza place in Ronda, Spain in April of this year. The waitress, Venere, spilled wine all over my husband's dockers, with barely an apology. She offered to pay for the cleaning, which she insisted would be able to remove the red wine stains from his tan pants.
When it came time to pay the bill, the waitress took off for the wine bottle (which we left half-drunk), but didn't take off the entire bill. We asked to speak to the manager, and were disappointed to hear that Venere was the manager! That 17 euros could have been used to help pay for the new dockers my husband will have to buy, since of course the stains did not come out entirely.
This was a disappointing experience which could have been alleviated if the waitress wasn't so cheap as to still charge us for the lunch. We ended up spending time on our vacation running back and forth to the cleaners. I can't even comment on the food, since we were all so frustrated by the wine spill experience. But based on the service, I would not recommend this place. read more
