Leslie was a dream!…read more My (now!) husband and I decided to have a pop-up wedding during a week-long visit to the Twin Cities. Searching Yelp, we found Leslie with Ceremonies by Positively Charmed days before hopping on a plane for our trip. While we weren't sure if Yelp was the best way to find the individual who would be reading our vows and pronouncing us husband and wife...we cannot say enough for how honored and blessed we are to have had Leslie guiding us into our marriage. With only five days notice, she still took the time to talk us through her process and provided us with a questionnaire that helped her get to know us but also gave us another opportunity to reflect on the gravity and beauty of the decision we were making. When the day arrived, it was as if she was already part of our family and understood the two of us and what marriage and this commitment meant to us. Not an eye remained dry through the ceremony. It had so much heart and depth, and truly reflected us. An intimate and sacred gathering. Leslie will ALWAYS be a part of the joy and delight of our wedding day.

Stop your search: Daniela is your GIRL. We hired Daniela for our engagement, elopement, and…read morereception celebration - and would recommend her a million times over. She is truly unmatched at capturing genuine, candid moments for special celebrations - no matter how unique or nontraditional they may be! The photos tell a story and showcase just how insanely talented she is, but I'll say some words too: ENGAGEMENT: We wanted to do a 70s-theme engagement shoot at Grandpa's Pool House, a local Airbnb that is a blast from the past. Daniela was more than down to have some nontraditional photo shoot fun with us! ELOPEMENT: We did a small family elopement at our family's home, and of course entrusted Daniela with capturing our special day. She knew all the best angles to capture, rocked the getting ready and family pics, and captured the intimate evening perfectly. I shared a vision board and Daniela made it reality. RECEPTION: Again, in nontraditional format, we hosted a family and friends reception 9 months after getting married in Minneapolis, and again we knew Daniela would capture the vibe perfectly. We had food trucks, a live band, a friend DJ, and Dilly Bars at a brewery - not your typical wedding. And once again, Daniela embraced exactly what we wanted to capture - fun, casual, lively, reunion of friends and family. And she did exactly that! Whether it's in nature, at a brewery, or in a 70s themed vintage house, Daniela will capture your special day with energy, enthusiasm, and care. We cannot recommend her enough!

Last summer for a newborn/family photo session and more recently a mini session with our son at 10 months. She has a great eye and produces the most beautiful and natural photos. When we first contacted her to photograph our newborn, I had no idea that newborn photography needed to be booked out in advance (first time mom here!). She kindly made herself available last minute, on the weekend, nonetheless, when it was best for our family. Then, during our last session (the mini) she kindly extended our time free of charge as she had a cancellation in the spot after us. After the photos came in and I got knit-picky about how my cleavage looked in my favorite family photo she so very patiently and graciously edited out and made it look ten times better (I could not emphasize just how patient she was with me about this - thank you, Rebeccah!). She incredibly talented and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
