**Great Food, But Portions Have Shrunk**…read more My girlfriend and I love Rekado. We first ate here last year and were amazed by their kare-kare and lechon kawali. Fast forward to this year, I brought my girlfriend and my brother to eat again. While the food was still delicious, the portions were significantly smaller--about 50% less. I posted a comparison of the kare-kare and lechon kawali dishes: on the left is April 2023, and on the right is May 2024. You can see that the portions have literally halved or more. Additionally, this time, the kare-kare had only one piece with actual meat, and it was very little. When we visited, there was an event, and we asked the server how long it would take for the food. The estimate was 15-20 minutes, but the food arrived in 25-30 minutes. It would have been fine if our expectations had been set correctly from the start, so we could have ordered appetizers since we were already hungry. Overall, the food is still delicious, but please improve the portion sizes.

Driving to tgis location gives you an impression that you're lost or heading the wrong direction. But just when you think you need to turn around, one sees the sign to the parking lot. I would have given this place 5 atars if not for the walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. For families with little kids, I find it a little dangerous to be walking along the road towards the restaurant at night on a rainy day. Once in the reataurant, you are welcomed by a warm modern dining setting. The place is not very big, but it's spacious and inviting to patrons. I especially liked the wooden trays that they used to serve the food. It's quite unique. Our kids liked their chicken barbeque because it was tender and a hint of sweetness. I liked the Gambas n and bbq sauce. It had a hunt of Cajun taste that my hubby and I enjoy. Their iced tea was a pleasant surpise. It was served in a HUGE mason jar. That can feed a giant!. I wish they had nore than one restroom, but it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed reading and admiring the wall art leading towards the restroom. It was a creative way of guiding patrons to the washroom. The only thing missing was a sign on the dinig area door, which confused some of the patrons who were walking back from the restroom. Overall, we enjoyed the food and dining experience. This place has goof food and dessert with great service.

It's a really cute little well-lit restaurant inside the first floor of a hotel compound and if you look well enough, it can really catch your attention. There's fair space inside. Maybe around 30-40 people can fit and around 10-15 can sit outside. Parking might be a little by hard because the compound is shared by other establishments but you can always park on the side of the road at night. The food is very affordable! Price range would be 140-350. There are some dishes for sharing less than 350 and it's really good for like 3-4 people! We ordered their Cheesy Sizzling Sisig on a skillet and it was huge!! It was worth 275 and I shared the bill with my friend so you can say we pretty much had a cheap, hearty meal that tasted really great! I also ordered their Old School Vanilla shake for 180 (? I think I'm not so sure anymore) and it was also really great! The service might not be as promising because there's only a few servers and the place is usually really crowded so they tend to get very busy. All in all it was still a really good quaint dining experience.

They short order each order, in my case, the kalbi was pan fried over an open flame. 2. Reasonable prices. Got fried eggs to go (for breakfast tomorrow). Three eggs for 60 PHP, or around $1.20. Decent, especially if you don't have a kitchen in your room.. 3. Open searing, seating, hehe, so it's easy to find a seat. 4. In a food court, so other people in your party can order something else and you can eat together. I also ordered the BBQ chicken. All three (kalbi, chicken and three eggs) was around $9. Very reasonable. Will be back.

It's located in a mall so you won't have any problems with parking but it's mostly full on Sundays for dinner (inside - because no one likes to sit outside since the tables outside is near the drop off area, which means the area could be dirty or sooty) I usually just order their Sicilian salad (lettuce with grapes, mangoes and Caesar dressing / you need to add extra if you want bits and pieces of Caesar chicken with your salad - most times they don't give much so if you complain about the amount of chicken they put in, they can give it for free). Their salmon is good (nothing too great), their pastas are great! Steaks are good and desserts are... Well you can buy better dessert for cheap elsewhere in the mall! That's it. But to be honest if I really wanted Italian food aloe anything close to that kind of dish I'd rather go to La Toscana.
