An adorable, cozy tea shop in Monza, that reminds me of the Teavana shops in the US (or the ones…read morethat used to exist?). You can buy tea bags, desserts, etc. to-go, or sit in-house and drink tea to warm yourself up from the winter cold! My only complaint is that they need to do better with sweetening their drinks. I didn't get a classic tea, rather a chai latte, and like most establishments in Italy that make novelty coffee and tea drinks, it was more like a tall, hot glass of milk than anything reminiscent of chai! I don't understand, is it a frugality measure? Give me more FLAVOR! Haha! In any case, be prepared for underwhelming flavors and ask for honey or sugar for your drink. If you're not a fan of sweet stuff, then this place will be perfect for your tastebuds!

That's okay ... you can drink an Italian Menabrea beer or a Trieste Theresianer beer in honor of the Austrian empress Maria Theresa. The sandwiches are among the best in the world and there are like 50 choices. Among the choices are a sandwich named for Philadelphia and another one named for Vienna. However I opted for a seasonal pumpkin cream and praga ham sandwich and my friends got two of their favorites - a Turbinium and a Porcaro respectively. Deep fried stuffed olives and aubergine flowers completed the food part of the evening. Speedy's is as good as everyone says it is. Now just be prepared for the queue to get a table!
