The order was taken quickly despite being very busy. Our meals were then delivered to a different table. After calling the server back over again, he found our food and then got offended that we weren't going to accept it, wanting some freshly cooked food instead. When our new order arrived, it wasn't that great and tainted what should have been an enjoyable afternoon.

And I was shocked to find that the only open place in town made a fantastic burger! I thought everyone was just there because they had no other choice. I think what I ordered was called something like the Super Mario, and involved goat cheese and a big flat red pepper. It was halfway between slider size and normal size, and was supremely juicy and fatty, tasting almost like pork or lamb rather than beef. It was accompanied by a banana/chocolate milkshake that kept its restaurant from earning five stars by being made with what tasted like Bosco syrup.

From what I saw in the menu, they have everything from cocktails, to tequilas, to vodkas, to coffee drinks, to just juices, AND they can make any drink a virgin drink. I had the drink of the week, a fosforito, for 6 euros, and it was good. It has tables outside and inside, and if you're lucky enough to grab a table inside (it gets crowded during the weekend....go on a sunday!), there's a lovely Hindu-type garden, and the chairs are very comfy, and it's all very intimately placed. Cons? The waiter was kinda rude, but he warmed up towards the end, my drink was good but so much ice! And the bathroom was pretty BUT desperately needs to be fixed, from the door, to the sink, to the toilet cistern. Other than the minor details, I'd definitely go back.

Through out high school my Spanish teacher told us stories about churros and chocolate from Spain…read more So when I finally had the chance to visit Spain, churros and chocolate was on my to do list. My research led me to Valor. It was easy to find, great location for people watching. We sat outside, service was quick. Our dish of warm churros was huge. Our cups of hot chocolate was so thick and rich I couldn't finish mine. I'm a milk chocolate fan, so I didn't enjoy it as much as my husband did, the churros helped sweeten up the chocolate for me though. The menu is packed with sweet indulgences, so if dark chocolate isn't your thing, your sure to find lots of other choices. We were leaving Spain that day on our cruise ship so we went back before getting on the boat. We got a chocolate milkshake this time, it was more like thick chocolate milk, and it was so good. We also got a box of chocolate truffles to take home with us. We're hoping Valor will make it to America, but in the meantime there's always the online store to tide us over.
