Vigo was a port of call on our cruise. After a day of just wandering around town & a little shopping, we wanted to sit and have a little snack & sangria. We stopped in on the way back to the ship. They are really close to the port, so there were other people sitting at their outdoor tables. The place is pretty much a hole in the wall catering to tourists. But at least the prices aren't crazy high.
We had a pitcher of sangria which arrived with a crap load of ice. I mean, it was pretty much a pitcher of ice with a bit of sangria. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't a proper sangria. We also ordered croquetas and patatas. The croquetas were ok, we just could not figure out what kind of croquetas they were. The patatas were good and fresh cut, not frozen.
Service was blah. But for being geared towards tourists, our total was about 18€. Don't go in expecting fantastic Spanish food though. read more
