This is one of those joints that we had no idea what to expect when we walked in. From the street it had no character at all but once inside we discovered a small comfy bar filled with locals watching Walker Texas Ranger on the television. The prices for drinks are cheap, the service is low key and the olives are worth going back for. Funny how after hitting enough bars its easy to begin differentiating between the quality of the olives served with the drinks....Taverna Pub King has some of the best olives we've had in Spain. The truth is a beer is a beer in almost any bar in Spain but the olives.....that's what brings us back. If you don't like your red wine chilled ask for tinto normal...I forgot and received an icy glass of termperanillo. Lesson learned. When in Trujillo you could do much worse than Taverna Pub King.
