Be warned that it does not resemble "British tea" in any way. There are no courses. No menu/formule. You choose a plat which comes with a salad on the same plate as a single course. The salad served with my main was iceberg lettuce with a single half of a cherry tomato extremely lightly dressed with a weak vinaigrette. They were out of the chicken so for my main I ordered the goat cheese and potato tart. It was OK - tasted like something you would be served in a cafeteria or a museum café. My kids ordered the menu enfant. It was potato chips (I guess they see that as British), a rock hard ham and cheese panini and fruit. Neither their meal nor mine came with beverages or dessert. We were in and out of the restaurant in less than 45 minutes - which is unheard of and sitdown French restaurants. The service was just OK. The food was so bad that we decided not to get the dessert and went to a nearby patisserie instead. I would recommend going to Le Salon d'Eugenie instead. They do serve a British style tea, the food is decent, and the prices are way better than at Bapz. The only thing this place had going for it was the cute tea cups and cozy, although cluttered interior.

This darling lunch spot welcomes regulars and first time visitors with open arms and delicious un-fussy food. There's a new menu handwritten on the chalk board every day consisting of one vegetarian and one meat option, so it's like being invited to a friend's house--if they're incredible cooks you don't have to ask what they're making to accept an invitation to their house--you're always in the mood for whatever they feel like serving. And that includes an appetizer and dessert, which we managed (OK, practically licked the plate) despite being perfectly content after the mains. Lunch is whipped up by one Fred, and served by the other Fred! It's served between noon and 2 PM on a comfortable shady patio (or an indoor dining area in inclement weather). Ideally there are two seatings (noon and 1:30), though if it's not a super busy day they can accommodate guests who are not locked into those times. Reservations are accepted (and appreciated).

I know it's two chocolate items but they complemented each other really well. The hot chocolate was more cocoa flavoured and the dessert was very sweet and chocolaty. It was a perfect mix for me. We loved everything about this place- the tea was delicious and they brought over a ton of it! The cakes were homemade and incredibly delicious! I highly recommend the Jasmine tea and the eugenie cake which is basically cake with raspberries and marshmallow fluff type stuff toasted on top. it's delicious. Tiphanie, the server, was so sweet and helped me with the menu. I ordered the confit de Conard, with salad and chip. I was so happy as the food was delicious and fresh. The duck was done perfectly, tender and melt in your mouth with the skin. The chips were different from the US, better. I fully enjoyed my meal and surroundings with kids in the playground. Highly recommended!!
