I figured it's historic, soufflé on real wood fire(!), I wasn't able to try the last time I was here, and there must be something special about the place. Heck, I'm used to crazy soufflé prices being from the Bay Area. But... First of all, don't come here hungry. They will take their sweet time serving you, let alone handing you a menu, as in the case of the table beside us. Should you come hungry, get ready to divulge into the bread and fill yourself up before you even get to your real food. The kids menu items came out fairly quickly, but the shared adult menu took quite a long time. Not only did it take forever, but the wrong item came out even after we specifically asked for a recommendation on wine pairing with what we actually ordered. It was a real let-down. The soufflé was not all that special, other neighboring tables were also extremely disappointed by the service. I really have nothing good to say about this place other than the fact they didn't completely fleece me after their screwup. I will not be coming back on my own dime.

The food was superb, and such is the layout of the restaurant we felt they were cooking just for us. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone down this way, in the future we will plan our journey around stopping here for lunch, we liked it that much!
