You only get one and they haven't hanged it out in a few days now. Sometimes u don't want to leave it on the floorbifbita the only towel, but they are supposed to replace if left on floor. It's a cunnindrum I don't like to be in. Give me insurance by providing two freaking towels. I also had to change my room. The original room they put me in was really small. That aside the shower enclosure was so small I barely got through the door!! I'm not a small guy but damn I feel sorry for anyone in the 230+ weight range! Good luck getting in there!!! The best part of this place is the breakfast. It's great. Traditional Italian cured meats and cheeses, cappuccino juice and some hot stuff like bacon and eggs. There's some home made pastries that are real good too. Hate to give it three stars but damn that shower, it was a killer. Enough to have them change my room! You can also watch the sunset over Miramare Castle from the hotel, which was so beautiful. The lobby is small when you first walk in, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I was on the third floor with a balcony. Note that not all rooms have balconies, so call or email to check when you make your reservation. As I mentioned, this hotel is right on the water. It is about a 50Euro taxi ride from the airport. Miramare castle is within walking distance. You can take a public bus straight from the hotel to city center, but note that Trieste city center is not really within walking distance. The hotel has a continental breakfast included, and it is incredible. It was the best breakfast I have ever had, and the best cappuccino ever. I wish I could live there - just to eat that breakfast everyday. The room was small, but had everything I needed. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. In fact the bed would be my only complaint, but the view and delicious breakfast more than made up for it.

I arrived at Trieste port from the cruise ship, walked over the street, and saw the hotel that I will be staying at on the next day. I was very surprised that I will be moving my luggages from the ship over to the hotel with just a few steps. It was the most convenient move ever! The hotel itself was amazing! Beautiful, super clean, and the staffs here are so nice. Service is beyond my expectation. We arrived early. Matteo made every effort to get the room ready for me as fast as he can. He was so accommodating. Really appreciate this as we needed a place to rest. Breakfast was great! View of my cruise ship. Leunijt was amazing! He made sure customers are taken care of. I noticed another group appreciated him so much and showed him a token of appreciation. I would come back here again.

It is in a great location in Trieste, right on the water front and 2 mins walk from the main square and the canal. The staff are really friendly and eager to you help with anything you ask. Breakfast was good and included in the room rate. If I was going back to Trieste I would definitely stay here again. It's a bit like going back in time, but not in a dated way. It's fully modern, but embraces the elegance of it's older attributes.

We booked a room at Hotel Due Leoni almost last-minute to visit some friends in Sacile and what a great accomodation it proved to be! The hotel furnishings are a bit outdated but this actually adds to its charme. I was very surprised to find a perfectly working vintage green SIP telephone on my nightstand- it was a sweet and nostalgic reminder of my youth. The rooms are very spacious with modern bathrooms and all the necessary amenities. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Piazza del Popolo and surrounded by beautiful Venetian-style buildings. An underground parking is available but it does require very skilled drivers to navigate the narrow parking slots. From the underground garage, an elevator takes you directly to the lobby and/or the rooms. The check-in process was fast and smooth with very professional and courteous staff. What really made a difference for us were the highest cleaning standards of the hotel: every surface was sparkling clean with nary a grain of dust to be found, all courtesy of their cleaning lady (I think her name was Elda and she came from Matera?) . Our room had a view on the Livenza River and the church. If you are a light sleeper, I would recommend taking some noise-cancelling buds to protect your ears since the bells of the nearby church ring at every hour- it did not bother us. The breakfast buffet is deliciously scrumptious with plenty of variety. We would gladly stay here again.
