This is the second time we went here. Having tried before and were disappointed, we thought... why…read morenot, let's give it another try. Where to begin....once we were seated we waited while the 6 or 7 servers spun around the room. After some time, I could not even understand what each was doing. They all seemed to have every job and no job. Finally, we asked the chief server to take our aperitif order. We had a chance to review the menu and while it is a nice menu, the prices were 30% higher than what should be. We have never had the specials explained and had to ask two times for our aperitif. We finally ordered our food and were nervous because the prices just seemed too high for what we were seeing. We went ahead and while we waited our wine came. The wine was served as a cider- no explanation, no pause and even after requesting to have the bottle and ice bath left at our table it was put in the center of the room.... too far for us to serve ourselves...which is exactly what we had to do while we waited for the food.... some 20 min. Now, that could be ok, if the entree arrived or if there was a little something served, but it was all just so terribly timed. All of a sudden, everything came and our plates were served and taken quickly.... it was just a strange experience and felt like a non-professional service. Having lived in France for 8 years, in my experience, this is not normal for what this place aims to be. After we were rushed through our dinner, pretty much all the staff disappeared! We had no idea what was happening... some 10-5 min later we realized that the whole staff was eating in the next room. We knew that because they kept calling to the single server left to clear their plates.... through the open door! Now, everyone needs to eat, but we hadn't finished and ... well, it felt rude and sloppy and not professional. When we finally were able to get anyone's attention, we were treated like we had interrupted them. sorry/not sorry Overall, this was just a terrible experience. The prices were too high, the service was horrific and the overall food experience was sub-par.

Our waiter spoke fairly good English and helped translate descriptions of several menu items. He was fun and friendly also. The food was delicious, starting with an Amuse busé, fresh oysters, mussels and prawns and octopus and lobster starters. Filet of beouf was cooked perfectly. The scallops tender and flavorful. We tried so many delicious dishes. And a couple good wines too. A great French cuisine experience.

The amuse bouche was a trio of very tasty small bites including a great crab and avocado thing that was amazing. The dozen Normandy oysters were super fresh and shucked expertly. For our large plates I got grilled bass with a number of purees and my wife got seared scallops. Mashed potatoes were served alongside the meal. My wife reported that the scallops may have been some of the best she's ever had and I loved my grilled fish. Perfectly executed and superbly fresh. For dessert we shared the cafe gourmand and it was excellent. I especially liked the chocolate mousse and the raspberry madeline. The ambiance was cozy and inviting and made for an amazing meal. I had been told that the seafood in Normandy was a cut above what gets sent to Paris and I absolutely believe it

We showed up here without a reservation but it wasn't full so we got seated immediately. With a very nice wine list and even nicer menu choices this restaurant deserves praise. Only 2 people in the dinning room area for waitressing and putting orders and it runs perfectly. We had so many good things... I can tell you that anything out of that kitchen will be delicious. My wife ordered the surprise menu... which was a three course dinner of anything the chef wants to prepare for you. Everything was perfect. Beautiful presentation and all explained to you by the waitress. We also ordered a seafood dish with a lobster sauce that was delicious as well as my fish. All cooked perfectly. Great Restaurant, great service, awesome food.

First the table gets an amuse bouche of coconut milk creme with seabass, coral lentils and sea lettuce. As starter we had the Monkfish and panais puree and for me the salmon on caramelised chicory. for mains we had the turbot wit carrot puree and shitakee and gingerbread. I had the pollock with pleurote, celeriac and bulgur risotto. I had a dessert, as included in the menu and it was a delicious apple and cinnamon souffle with an apple granite! The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked and staff is super nice and good service! I will comeback next time I'll be in the area
