Overpriced, low quality of service, condescending and unmotivated staff, and mask rules are loosely enforced.

She taught me so many tools for dealing with bothering everyday stressor as well as past traumas that I still implement today. I seriously do not know where I would be with out her. Her attention to my needs far surpassed even my own understanding at the time. I actually came on today-- years later to give her a review because I want to get in touch with her and let her know what a huge impact she had on my life... at that time I wasn't capable of thanking her. I heard her voicemail and chose to work with her based on the feeling I got from that greeting. Her office was welcoming and at the time I got to meet her sweet sweet doggo on occasion as well. If you want to be treated with respect and dignity and TRULY BE LISTENED to... you cannot go wrong with Lynn. Please meet her. Your mental health and your psyche will thank you. Lynn has helped me access my emotional system and to see its working parts. This has been transformative. I've been an avid reader of emotional self help of sorts. A lot of it made sense. I just could never seem to be the way those book's suggested. But Lynn's process is not a "5 key steps to improvement," it's a new understanding of yourself completely. A new relationship with yourself. It's a transformative skill. One that needs to be practiced and harnessed but worth the effort. I hope this was helpful!

When Chris and I took the first pre-marital course with the Couples Center our lives and relationships were changed for the better. We eagerly signed up for the new template-based course and it exceeded our expectations. I was excited to write a lengthy review of what we enjoyed about the workshop in hopes it could help others in their personal growth. Their phrase still resonates with me, "the best time to participate in therapy is when you don't have a lot of problems". We went into the first course intending to strengthen our current relationship. Little did we know we would uncover issues that we weren't aware of. Knowing these we were able to make changes that improved our relationship tenfold. Our goal in the 2nd workshop was to solve our problems by becoming aware of them. The couples center once again was a step ahead. We learned that as problem solvers, some of our parts won't be solved with a logical or analytical approach. We discovered the power of getting in touch with our emotions and not always be in our heads, which is a hard and abstract approach, but life-changing. We now understand why this was a level 2 of the first course as we went a lot deeper into what shapes us in both a positive and negative way. Just like the previous course Gal and Liron have built a comprehensive session with digestible tools we reference regularly. Each exercise was expertly laid out to make complicated ideas clear and was a stepping stone to a larger understanding. Even the most simple activity had the biggest impact on us. They also made some shifts to the structure so we had more time with one on one sessions with assistants, who did an excellent job of helping us process the material. Instead of just becoming aware of problems, we became aware of deep-seated parts of our whole and acknowledging that they are the makeup of our identity, beliefs, and reactions. Knowing this empowered us to be able to be mindful of decisions, rather than just living by spontaneous reactions. This awareness was especially important to do together as partners to increase our empathy and understanding of each other. Previously we discovered how autonomous we were and the impacts it had on our connection. This time around we acknowledged our problem solving and analytic nature, which might prove effective in our day-to-day responsibilities, but could often impair our emotional connections. It doesn't mean we need to stop solving problems, but to at least be mindful of that habit and check that it is appropriate for that situation. The Couples Center is a true gift and the work Gal and Liron are doing is fantastic. We love their passion for helping others and their psychology skills are terrific. We look forward to future workshops. Thank you.

We wanted to carve out some space for couples counseling before our wedding and realized it worked better for our schedule to do a retreat over the weekend vs. counseling sessions over several weeks. What we liked about it: - Mix of art and science - Gal and Liron bring a good balance of theory on psychology + intuitive reflection. They bring a lot of their personal experiences into the conversation, and I found that really engaging and applicable. - Get to know yourself - even though this was a couples workshop, a lot of the focus is on better understanding yourself and your underlying needs, communication and conflict patterns, need for connection vs autonomy, relationship with money, etc. - Framework for effective communication - they provide you a common language so you can resolve any argument within 5mins. - Diversity of attendees - there was a great mix of couples, some pre-marital, some who have been married for decades This was an incredible investment for us, and we only wish we took it earlier in our relationship. I've also applied a lot of my learnings to my other relationships at work, etc.

My ex threw up roadblock after roadblock. I never knew where Wes was coming from. Lots of shooting from the hip. In one of the first sessions, he shamed me for having a custody assessment done, I guess because the psych test revealed that my ex had a moderate personality dysfunction and the likelihood that she would do poorly in reality testing. The thing was, she insisted on the psych test, not me. At what was to be the last session, my ex announced that she was quitting for financial reasons. I offered to pay. She said she was still quitting. I figured I had nothing to lose and brought one extreme incident that she controlled the kids even when they were with me. He seemed to understand and said that she couldn't do that kind of stuff. Yet, in his last report, he wrote that she quit due to lack of progress! You would have to be blind and deaf not to see what she was doing! He was useless.

Out of the blue the name Wes Christensen came into my mind and it trigger some old, pretty…read moretraumatic memories, so I decided to look him up. Sadly, I see here (based on his reviews) not much has changed. I would like to say that when Wes was on our case, there was no YELP, I shut him out of my mind, I wish I would have reviewed him as it may have helped someone else. I sought help to protect my child, it turned out I needed to protect her from Wes, here is my story... I was in a very heated custody battle for many years and was in court so much we opted for a Special Master, we agreed and this is when Wes entered the picture. Wes started off mild mannered but that quickly changed, as I presented info on my ex's instability Wes showed little to no interest. I went to a group session and Wes allowed my ex's new "fiancé" (I never met) to be present. He was recently on parole and had two strikes, Wes felt he should be a part of the decisions as he would be raising our daughter (?????). Without writing a novel it only got worse, but Wes always gave my ex the benefit of the doubt no matter what I presented. This went on for a few years. As soon as the Wes's time expired as Special Master, we ended up in family court and based on the information (the same information Wes had) they immediately granted me sole physical and legal custody. That fiancé that Wes loved so much well he threatened to harm me and my daughter, the court granted me a 3 yr/ 300 yd restraining order. Within 3 month he got his 3rd strike and was back in prison (Wes had him directly involved in my daughters life). I specifically made it a point to write Wes and let him know that he has tremendous power and it could harm someone (and how lucky we were in spite of his poor decisions). I let him know the custody status, that the finance was now back in prison. Wes never responded but someone close to the case told me he admitted to them he screwed up. My ex eventually was able to be there for our daughter part time but sadly she passed away from cancer a few years back. The good news out of all this is that Wes is retiring, in our case (and I see others) he made very poor decisions. Most people only find out about Wes after the fact, it seems he would be more suited to use his skills as a valet car parker because he has no place being around or making decision involving children (no offenses to valets). In my experience Wes was just as much a danger to my daughter as everything we try to protect our kids from, he has no business being licensed and is a very scary man! For over a decade he has zero care how his actions have repeatedly harmed families.
