Everyone who visits Griffith goes to this iconic restaurant. Sales reps or business people in particular all enjoy the atmosphere and food. That's great, but really the staff are sometime just plain rude. A friend recently went with a group of girlfriends for dinner. My friend, who is pregnant, ordered garlic bread for the table, to which the waitress looked down her nose and said "Just for you? Or the table?"My friend is very small build, but felt like the waitress was being rude.
I went there the following week with my husband and a friend. We set near the pizza making area and were subjected to snide jokes from one of the owners about my husbands employment status. Definitely not nice, and we didn't appreciate him ruining our night out.
As always the food was very nice, so if you can put up with rude waitresses and people who are arrogant, go there for dinner. If you're a local and you don't measure up to their expectations, be prepared for haughty treatment. read more
